We do also have to admit, most 5 star guys will get drafted fairly high if they hit their potential. Not a slight against Mario just the reality of the situation.

Odds are better he hits it here than there. It’s like pro potential there is B+ or A- but A+ here. I still wouldn’t bet against Mario, just again the reality of recruiting against CFP level teams.

Penei Sewell was a 4*. 247/Rivals had him around 60 and ESPN at 120ish.

I’m not saying we won’t be the best for his development. It’s just not as big as a runaway thing as it might seem in the outside looking in imo.
 
If this kid doesn’t go to Miami do we even want him in the first place. There’s no box we don’t check anymore

- Our HC and OL coach are the best in the business at developing OL
- we’re the hometown team and are now winning on the big stage
- Mario plays OL early
- we have a great NIL program

For some people - even a national championship - will not be enough.

Yes, without a doubt, we 100000% want him in the class. He's at the very top of our recruiting board.

Let's please not be the loser fanbase who copes by saying, "the fact he didn't commit to us means we really didn't want him that much."
 
We can’t whiff here… pair him with Cantwell and have a dominate OL for 3-4 years.

**** AM if they get him, when they wanna buy a class they sure go all out.

Do you know if the coaches value him and see him as a day 1 starter like they did Mauigoa and Cantwell?
 
It makes you wonder tho we been recruiting MJC for months while auburn been recruiting him for a week and he's sold

He might not wanna be the Robin to Cantwells Batman? LT is the money position. Cantwell has that seemingly locked up.
