Love MF. But wouldn't be surprised if they kept his touches relatively low throughout the season. Other than maybe @ ND I wouldnt give him 20+ carries a game. you want this guy fresh for the playoffs. Pringle was great down the stretch in ACC play. Lyle and Brown will be a factor as well.

Keep him fresh for later in the season, for the betterment of his career (NFL likes less carries) and to get other RBs more experience/keep them happy.

Since Mario has been here this is what we do anyway. My only issue with it is there’s been games when we should scrap what feels like a predetermined amount of carries because one back gets a hot hand. Let’s get some blowouts this year so we don’t even have to think about it

Under 100 carries regular season. Will sit multiple games.

The Mark Fletcher slander was insane. Special talent, and even when he was at his “worst,” (coming off of TERRIBLE injuries and life circumstances) he was still a chain mover and elite in pass pro.

You are saying, the leader of this football team…not A leader, but THE leader, is going to be fully healthy, yet will stand on the sidelines and not play, in MULTIPLE football games? That’s your take? He’s going to practice in full. Not be on the injury report. Have zero limitations. Run through the smoke on Saturday….and just chill? Multiple times?

Sure. I’ll bet you. I’ll bet you even more you’ve never played competitive sports on a high-level team. But sure, yeah, I’ll bet you $100 that Mark Fletcher will not be a healthy scratch in multiple football games this fall. Yeah. I’m in on that.

If you want to go another $100 on under 100 carries in 12 regular season games, I’ll take the over on that one as well. If he is ruled out due to injury, the bet is void.
