One aspect of the game that I thought mattered were the TO's late in the first half as our D was gassed. It seemed to help give us a second wind and keep USF out of the end zone.
Smart decision, but that’s what a coach is supposed to do. Also good chance that it was Guidry’s initial call. No matter, good move.
The final timeout of the first half was to stop the bleeding. Next play? They ran an option for a 2 yard loss and they had to kick a FGOne aspect of the game that I thought mattered were the TO's late in the first half as our D was gassed. yeah he was getting after Moten about something, Bain afterward was talking to him too explaining something. Seems like he missed an assignment or got out of his gap.The final timeout of the first half was to stop the bleeding. Next play? They ran an option for a 2 yard loss and they had to kick a FG
Taylor also yelled at Motem Sr during the timeout. We can’t tell whether Moten took it well.

I also saw it was Marley Cook who got the illegal substitution penalty in the first half. He legit got within 5 yards of the sideline and just started a nonchalant jog and let off the gas right next to the ref. Didnt make it off, got the penalty. Mario was going ape**** on the sideline and while I did not see him approach Cook I have to assume that is what it was. That is something that would absolutely **** Mario off.
I agree but who knows why they did, maybe they thought USF did, regardless if he hustled he would have made it. No reason to not unless he was hurt and in that case fall over. They shouldn't have tried to substitute there when USF was using tempo, was not substituting and the ball was way on the other hash.
