Mario

Criscoball is a bum. Leave him in Oregon and let’s get in the #LaneTrain and wreck the ACC
Totally agree. Kiffin is a wizard. Love when he does that whistling to communicate with players. Cristobal is fine with 2 good coordinators but don’t overpay and keep reasonable buyout option. I could live with Herman, Brady, or Dorsey and hire real DC.

Im taking 10+years of success over the 2years of success that lane would give us.

Theyre both quality coaches but i want the long term commitment.

A part of me doesn’t like the coach fighting with the star player. But when the star player is playing like dog crap then put him in his place. Two sides of the coin

Lane fans taking a victory lap rn. Don't know if Mario sucks or if Utah is just a bad matchup for them. Regardless, just bring me #6
Said it before and I'll say it again. If you're supposedly a top notch recruiter and team builder, you shouldn't have "bad matchups", because you should be talented enough to not have bad matchups. If recruiting is your strength, that shouldn't happen. The biggest matchup problem last night was Utah's coaching staff against Oregon's coaching staff.

Well....if Mario comes here, then he is bailing out of Oregon in 4 years??? How is that a long term commitment? What makes you think he'll be around longer than that?

Mario's recent history......at Miami @ 2-3 weeks?? at Alabama @ 2-3 years??? at Oregon @ 4 years??? I am not convinced that he believes in long term commitments......

Just assuming since he grew up in miami, went to hs in miami, played and gave blood/sweat/tears for the hurricanes, coached for the canes. All his family is in miami. Tons of friends in miami. Miami wearing big boy pants now and will give him the resources he needs. One of the most fertile recruiting areas in country.

I think of it this way as just a fan. I think about how much i love the U and how much it affects my moods and how much passion i have for it. I was born a cane but didnt attend the university. How much love and passion do you think the guy that grew up a cane and played for them has over my crazy ***????

I’m so done with them. @Andrew and @DMoney - fair notice. We’ve had a miserable go at it and we’re replacing Blake with Rad and Manny likely with Mario. If the miserable idiots who can’t help but try to make the rest of us miserable, rather than let us breathe again and appreciate where we’ve been and what has transpired, want to continue their rain of misery here - there are going to be casualties.

No true Cane fan with a life should be unhappy right now as it looks. If you are, stay away from here or …..

This is the most important thing, and what people are losing sight of:

Money.

That’s why I keep telling people that it really doesn’t matter who we bring in as AD or coach, the most important thing is the ultimate commitment to the program in terms of what counts: money.

Just so happens that the people with the money bags apparently really want Mario. I’m OK with that as long as we make that turn into big boy territory in terms of full commitment.

We are literally going overnight from being a secondary program, to at least getting to sit at the grownup’s table. Yet people want to complain about the Clemson AD for fūcks sake, or a much much better coach that we have seen in the past.
