I think this season may change Mario forever. I posted in other threads the light may have finally come on to play to win and blow people out. Going into a shell almost cost them more games this year.

You can dominate people and still be creative on offense.

Mario looks so much more relaxed and having fun with it all.

I didn’t think Beck was awful at all against SMU. Yes, his last pass cannot happen. But we all know the game should’ve never been in overtime. He had Lofton drop a TD. He had Jojo drop a gorgeous ball that turns into a pick. He had a first down inside the 5 to Bauman that gets brought back because of an OPI on Toney. He wasn’t great but he was far from awful IMO.

None of us has any ******* clue what goes on behind closed doors with these coaches.

Press conferences mean absolutely NOTHING. Ditto interviews with the media.

Coaches have to be diplomats for the press. There is constant hedging, politicking, image preservation, etc.

Lot of us was saying this throughout the season starting in the 4th qtr of the FSU game but were being called “haters, not-fans, blind, complainers, part of THE FACTION” (that thread was a doozy)…

Nothing wrong with being honest and trusting our eyes and knowledge just as others did…

This team is good and has talent and we’re witnessing that on the field, especially during the last 4 games…

We didn’t have a free agency period and changed players, they’re the same players since the start of the season…

Things changed at the top WITH THE LEADER and I’m ecstatic he recognized it, admitted it and changed it…

Im really not looking for trouble with any of these guys but I’ve been around long enough here with you that we know trouble when we see it. We could see issues coming a mile away with this guy and I offered to end it early before it got to where we knew it would ultimately go but @LuCane said let him be so I let him be.

I don’t want to ban people regardless of the jokes I make relating to it. I wish people would just act decently on here and to each other.

I can only speak to my dissatisfaction with Dawson after he got testy with reporters after being questioned about the inefficient run plays. I take that back in light of this revelation, as he must have been frustrated between following Mario’s game approach and what he would have perhaps liked to call. With that, Pringle’s insertion has made a huge difference in the run game, and probably helped Fletcher’s runs as well.

We turned the ball over, committed tons of penalties and didn't block on key plays.

That's why we have two losses. Not some made-up, retconned "changes" other than some trickery thrown in by Dawson in key moments.

I’ve always said the Louisville loss squarely falls on Beck’s shoulders not the play calling/mario handcuff excuse ppl wanted to run with ..play calls don’t determine turnovers players do..funny how when Beck stopped gifting the ball to the other team we started blowing MFs out and executing better on offense it’s called rhythm
