I agree with you but that’s the stuff you’re only supposed to see when you’re in the inner circle imo

As guarded as Mario is and how he presents everything in a methodical way

I’m in no way shape or form suggesting it’s bad. It’s ******* awesome.

Remember we are talking about a head coach that didn’t even want who was playing left guard to be known until the coin toss…

Fair point. Can’t make stuff like that a regular occurrence even if the ocasional slip is a net positive for PR.

it's not just the talent evals (which are obviously better), it's the character evals. remember the days of jarren williams playing hungover against FIU? can you even imagine that happening with the guys we have now?

Don't discount USF. They are well coached and have improved the talent level. I will watch them closely against Alabama this weekend.
 
Part of 2 great coaching trees…Butch & Saban. Nice pedigree. He was clearly paying attention. I knew Mario was real when he bolted Golden’s staff after 3days or whatever it was. He has his short comings, but building a culture isn’t one of them and that is the most important. It takes time. See Howard, Jimmy, Butch…Dennis & Larry were coattails guys. Takes time. I think we have a guy that wants this to be his last stop. Feels like the late ‘90’s.
