Mario out Recruiting

They’ve said multiple times they want the AD to be part of the process .

An AD isn’t hired. If it drags out much longer they’ll half to change plans. I still think we’ll hear something soon with am AD then things should speed up.
In addition to talking to multiple AD candidates…is it also possible that they’ve also been in touch with alternative options should Mario decide to stay? I know you’ve said all along it was Mario as the top target. Just wondering if by waiting for the AD to be involved are they still putting the contract structure(s) together…thus allowing the new AD to come in and move quickly

I get he's still employed by oregon but if he was coming here in the next day or two he wouldn't be out recruiting
As someone pointed out it looks like he's in a hotel lobby and might just be in vegas. If a kid came to the title game what is mario to do just give him the cold shoulder? Him and his staff are still under contract with oregon. That's something to remember.

I keep hearing that this is Marios dream job and that he wants to come home. He sure is taking his sweet time giving us an answer. Not to give Manny any praise but when he was offered the job, he told temple to Fùck right off and accepted the job here. If this is Mario's dream job, what is there to think about? It's all he's ever wanted, right?

Apparently that’s almost certainly Vegas, it’s reported he flew back with the team last night. So how on earth could he be back in Vegas today. Also, I can’t verify this because I don’t follow the NCAA rules that closely, you’re not supposed to be able to recruit on Saturday. Maybe someone can confirm that. Or at least you can’t do in person and/or home visits on Saturdays.

Also, OP is a big Bama fan, and he’s probably rubbing one out right now after that last Alabama touchdown, so I don’t know if it was that important to have its own thread, but whatever.

Recruiting is a part of a coach's job description. If you cancel your schedule visits without reason, u can get fired for cause and lose your money

Seriously?

Mario has been at Oregon five years, last four as HC. His family is there. He‘s built something. He‘s recruited all his players. Accepting the Miami job, his dream job, impacts an awful lot of people. Maybe he’s thinking about all this.

Manny had been at Temple a few weeks. They collected a buyout for a HC finding his way around the athletic facilities.

Actually, the majority of his family is in Miami. Lincoln Riley and Brian Kelly were also at their schools for awhile and built something and they sure as **** didn't waste any time making a decision. Do you think yesterday was the first time someone from Miami reached out to Mario? They have been in contact for a few weeks, I'm sure. If he has to think about it this long, move on to the next guy

24-48 hours (i realize this could be bull****)? All i know is if Mario turns the job down now, he should.be banned from Miami and never brought up for the job ever again.
if he doesn't take the job now he will never get the chance again and hopefully his camp has made sure he understands that. If he got the job 3 years ago Miami wouldn't have been ready to provide him with the support he needs to win so everything that happened to get here had to happen. If he passes this up then Miami will only be a dream job because it will never be reality.
