From what I read, Kelly was out recruiting and took a 15 minute phone call from LSU while in a recruit's house.

Even if we don‘t get Mario, if we have made a decision to add much money to the athletic dept budget we will be in good shape. There is not a savior that we need. But there was a change in philosophy and financing that we needed. More than 1 coach can be successful at UM with the proper support.
I want Mario as well but I don’t see him as a knight in shining armor.
I do see the people who convinced the president to increase the budget as knights of the roundtable.
