Is there some reason I should give a fck out Oregon's coach?
Only that our fanbase loves to focus on the irrelevant.

The idea that people would not want Mario back at Miami is funny.
I would take him back in a heartbeat unless Urban, Dabo, or Saban wants in.
Name a guy with a better resume than Mario for the Miami job.
This guy has the following:
1) Great CEO, Dude is a Boss.
2) Network from his days at Bama.
3) Runs the Spread
4) Runs attacking 4-3 defense
5) Great recruiter which we don't presently have. Dude can close!!
6) OL coaching experience which is always our weakness and his OL coach Mirabel would come with him.
7) Head coaching experience at a top 20 program.
8) Worked under Saban knows how it should look and feel.
Will he win the national championship in first few years, probably not. But he would be the best head coach we have had since Butch.
He left Al Golden for Saban. I'd take him back.

Doesn't sound like it.He most likely will be the next coach here in 3 years
Yeah but I can't see him passing on a chance to come back down when the job opens up again.Doesn't sound like it.
I care. So there's that. Good find OP.
He would come in a heartbeat as long as the money was right (which it would be). His time and window is limited in Eugene. USC is about to build a Death Star in the Pac 12. Plus, he and his wife don't want to spend the next 10 years in Eugene.
I think you're overestimating how attractive the Miami job is.Yeah but I can't see him passing on a chance to come back down when the job opens up again.

27-47 at FIU.
He was being interviewed saying how great the fanbase and school is. "It great up here. its like how it use to be down south in the good ole days"
he then took straight shots at Manny. He was like "im old school. im not about slogans." and said some more lol
George Lucas is a Trojan, tooThe death star comment is frickin hilarious man. Still laughing.
