Mario on The Amigo Show taking shots

The idea that people would not want Mario back at Miami is funny.

I would take him back in a heartbeat unless Urban, Dabo, or Saban wants in.

Name a guy with a better resume than Mario for the Miami job.

This guy has the following:

1) Great CEO, Dude is a Boss.
2) Network from his days at Bama.
3) Runs the Spread
4) Runs attacking 4-3 defense
5) Great recruiter which we don't presently have. Dude can close!!
6) OL coaching experience which is always our weakness and his OL coach Mirabel would come with him.
7) Head coaching experience at a top 20 program.
8) Worked under Saban knows how it should look and feel.

Will he win the national championship in first few years, probably not. But he would be the best head coach we have had since Butch.

Exactly!

He left Al Golden for Saban. I'd take him back.

He's got a loaded roster, a Top 15 team and the PAC 12i s as down as it's ever been. USC, UCLA and Stanford all suck and Washington is just ok. He's got the inside track to the Rose Bowl at worst, a playoff spot at best.

He's a smart man who already shown his loyalty is to himself and his famiy. He would be insane to leave Oregon right now.

like this fan base would give him the time? Our dumbasses flew a banner when Butch was here. Mario come in and go 7-6 first year, the fan base would start up the banners.

He would come in a heartbeat as long as the money was right (which it would be). His time and window is limited in Eugene. USC is about to build a Death Star in the Pac 12. Plus, he and his wife don't want to spend the next 10 years in Eugene.

He recruits at an elite level right now. He doesn't have to fear USC from a talent standpoint.

The death star comment is frickin hilarious man. Still laughing.

He was being interviewed saying how great the fanbase and school is. "It great up here. its like how it use to be down south in the good ole days"

he then took straight shots at Manny. He was like "im old school. im not about slogans." and said some more lol

Wow. Mario isn't all about slogans. He's old school. Sick burn. Get this guy back to Coral Gables immediately.

I think you're overestimating how attractive the Miami job is.

Program is in such bad shape that I just don't see him leaving what he has going in Oregon right on.

Not sure why anyone worth a **** would want to commit career suicide here right now.

Which is why I believe there's only one solution...

:dbc: BBB motha****as

Oregon ranked 11 th and leading the Pac 12

Let's see where he's at year's end.

Still blew the Auburn game with awful time management.

Second year in system; went 9-4 last year and got his *** handed to him by an eventual 5-7 garbage Arizona team, 44-15. Also taken to task at Washington State, 34-20.

Fans would be trashing Mario the same way they are Manny as this Miami program was in bad shape after a 7-9 run dating back to Pitt in 2017. No one was coming in here and walking on water in 2019. Y'all need to get a grip.
