This. Seems like he is being a diplomatic leader to the media. To me it reads as, I know this offense sucks but I’m not going to blame anyone publicly and will handle the issues internally and hopefully that means Gattis is gone.Mario isn’t throwing any coaches under the bus, and being a stoic leader.
@Cribby has been saying it for weeks. Gattis is gone, looking like Ponce too
Mario HAS TO FIRE GATTIS!!! If he doesn't he loses w.e. creditability he has left. If you want to play the tough guy, you need to make the tough decisions.

Is it just me or does this new OC need to be a QB coach? This way he's with our QBs after every series making adjustments and getting feedback from what our QB sees on the field.Mario HAS TO FIRE GATTIS!!! Curious...did Ferman post this list after Roberts, Franklin, and Frierson entered the portal? On the transfer portal:
“there is a good core of guys” on this team.
“You always maintain honesty and transparency while there’s a professional obligation to continue to build. And that requires being very upfront with everyone in the organization– what they’ve done, where the organization is headed and then what is each person’s role and what is their projected role in the organization."
“We are very blunt and truthful, as it needs to be because this is a very demanding sport,” he said. “Most importantly, every ounce of effort has to be into winning this game, always being where our feet are. And when the time comes to handle certain things, sometimes it comes early and sometimes there have been plans laid out, which is later. But every ounce of focus has to be on winning this football game and giving our seniors the best chance to get a `W,’ to extend our season by another game, give ourselves a chance to be in the postseason.”
“We came here to do this the right way and do right by people but also elevate this program,” he said. “That requires some hard line decisions and not taking any bullcrap, you know? … Everything players, everything alumni, all that stuff – you need to be a tough son of a *****. That’s why this requires every ounce of what I have, the rest of the staff and players have. Just 1,000 miles per hour, take the lumps that come with it so we can keep moving forward, progressing.”
Ferman is listing the following players as already determined to be entering the portal:
Keshawn SMith
Elijah Roberts
Thad Franklin
Avery Huff
Gil Frierson
It means firings happen after the season. My guess is before ESD only if he thinks it will help recruitingWhat's all that supposed to mean?? Just a lot of words...
At least he didn't say Gattis didn't forget how to coach...

yes. This morning. First time I've seen him put in writing Keyshawn and Huff...Curious...did Ferman post this list after Roberts, Franklin, and Frierson entered the portal?
I never thought we would be this bad but alot of ppl did think that Gattis was a bad fit. Even @Stevo365 was initially hesitant about the Gattis offense. Is it just me or does this new OC need to be a QB coach? This way he's with our QBs after every series making adjustments and getting feedback from what our QB sees on the field.
This also allows for the WR coach to actively coach our WRs instead of being focused on calling plays.
I didn't see it being a problem, I thought we'd hit a homerun honestly, but now looking at it, Mario/Rad need to make an adjustment. Sometimes the greatest idea in the world just doesn't work out....when we heard these hires, no one on CIS thought we'd be sitting at 5-6, forced to win vs Pitt to get bowl eligible.
Huff just kinda makes sense for both sides. He has never played here except special but by all account seems to be a good teammate and hustles and doesn’t get in trouble. Wish the kid luckyes. This morning. First time I've seen him put in writing Keyshawn and Huff...
As it relates to Gattis, I’m making an educated guess that the WRs snd Emory Williams committed to the school and Mario and not Gattis and his system.
I could argue that firing Gattis immediately after Pitt would be a boost to recruiting and not a detriment
