Mario Monday Press Conference

100%. I thought Dawson answered that question very well. Followed up with a polite "does it make sense?". Caneville tried to say "doesn't production influence who gets the ball?"...Dawson's response of "production can influence the defense. which makes other guys get open" hopefully appeases that narrative for 24h

Caneville asked Mario and Dawson same question. Whats the over/under he asks Heatherman. lol
Im a bigger fan of "FTS" (FEED THE STUDS).. If a guy has almost 100 yards of offense in 1st qtr and you dont throw him ball again til 1 screen at end, its kinda malpractice to me.. But no biggie..

20 points and ball spread around with dam near no explosives rest of game, we gucci.

The officiating will always suck, but this is a case of play stupid games, win stupid prizes. We've slowed games down and limited possessions and you put yourself in a position where a bad or discretionary call now makes an impact.

Fletcher would absolutely murder on another team. Allow him to transfer to NCState or Pitt for these upcoming games and all of yall would eat your words.

Also, I love all of the microaggression based dog whistling against Canesville. Some of us are just as stubborn and lacking of self-awareness as Mario is, but in other ways.

The entire point of calling the timeout is waiting to see what they’re going to run. So no, you don’t call it early. You call it right before the snap and you don’t even think your ******* edge rusher is going to smash into the quarterback like a banshee, unless you realize your program is totally cursed beyond belief. In which case, sure, of course he will, and he’ll probably pop a hamstring trying to pull up.

If you think the call was dumb, that’s fine. Like I said, I’m sure many coaches would advocate one way or the other. But the timing wasn’t dumb. We’re just dumb and apparently can’t hear.
I agree with you. Thats why I haven't mentioned that timeout once since the loss. A lot of coaches call a timeout to see the defense, this wasnt a Mario special.

I blame this one the refs. Most refs blow the whistle, RUN TO THE PLAY AND WAVE THEIR HANDS. These ***** *** lazy refs just blew their whistle then ran up only to throw a flag.

Also, even if there is contact, you simply cannot throw that flag at that point of the game unless the qb is knocked out the game and needing a stretcher. Like refs have to use a little judgment and consider what point of the game we are in. 1st quarter? Sure man...throw your stupid flag.

4th down in the last seconds of the game? Clown **** by thoese refs.

Dunno why everyone is still glossing over if we take the short field goal and the points vs the failed 4th in a CLOSE game like any other intelligent coach..we win the game outright despite officiating and everything else.
Corchin at its utter finest...

what did Dawson mean when talking about the interception play in OT that the "ball probably should've gone to Jojo but he was 'unavailable'"? a reporter asked him "what do you mean?" and he just said "Watch the play".
Another no call. Jojo was tackled in the endzone and there was no PI called

Caneville trying to push the braindead JoJo narrative about him not getting targeted in the second half even though he something like the second or third most snaps at WR on the day
He believes it's done at Mario's direction . He thinks Mario has it out for JoJo and favors the others. It's been his narrative for two days.

Dawson told him the play that Beck threw the TD to him was intended for Marion but Carson changed the play and threw it to JoJo. That shut him up for a few minutes

"We as a coaching staff need to do a better job of putting our players in positions to succeed." Textbook coach speak, but it is not something he is capable of doing or saying.
Hes said that before. You all want him to get down and beg for forgiveness and he's not going to do that.

No, it was about this year, not his teams in general.
If that's the question you want asked, it isn't a Mario question. It's a Miami question going back 23 years. This didn't start with Mario.

The one common denominator, though.....

The head official didn’t even run in late. Threw his flag from 15 yards away and had that **** ready to fire before Lightfoot even touched Jennings.

I’m not a Fletch fan. But more of Lyle instead of Fletcher has been absolutely atrocious for us all year. Brown has been fine.

Hopefully we can see Pringle+CWH I guess.
Unless they are tossing them the ball they will be useless. They aren't doing anything running into Brockmeyer's butt

The reporters are asking softball questions. Why can't they strictly ask the guy why do your teams struggle in November based upon stats and wins/losses? This isn't just a year problem; this has been a tenure problem.
It’s like the nba media . The media is scared to death to ask a player a tough question because they’ll lose access because these twats can’t handle anything negative . Same with our media and the coaches. So it’s either softballs or meaningless questions

Hes said that before. You all want him to get down and beg for forgiveness and he's not going to do that.
I want him to quit and give up the money. I'd settle for coherent coach talk that gave me a second thought about his ability to lead. Repeating the same tone deaf monikers is where we are though.

Cause it was the right call. Making a 1 score game a 1 score game doesn’t do much.

Now, if you wanna say basing your entire strategy around playing scared and slow to rely on your defense, so you should kick the FG, maybe. But 4th and 1 on the opponent 29 with 4 mins in the 3rd quarter of a 17-14 game is a clear “go”.
