Mario is a problem on Offense Mopes get in here.

He is gonna get some HC looks for sure.
Would be great if Mario could convince him to stay, win a couple titles and be in line for a big time job like the Saban assistants and Venables and them. Seems like it’s an easier path to a big time job where you can actually win rather than going to be the head coach at Rutgers or Temple.

OC at the U is better job than head coach at Rutgers or Temple IMO

Love it. I know there was a whole narrative about Mario being the bro style and would never let an OC be true to their style of play but so far that seems to be a false narrative or dare I say, Mario has adjusted and changed? I don’t know and honestly I dont care. I am just happy to see it.
Mario definitely adjusted. It’s no secret that at all of his previous stops he has preferred a run heavy/first offense, and hiring Gatt@s last season just reinforced that.

But thankfully, there’s nothing like abject failure and adversity to make someone have to reflect and adjust. At Oregon he didn't have to adjust because his offenses were pretty good. But last season's **** show totally changed that.

Watching our offense so far this season, there is zero doubt in my mind that Mario is a changed man, and knows that to attract the top WR’s and QB’s, he’s going to have to unleash the hounds and have a very explosive offense.

I still think that we’ll run a lot when opposing D’s try to take our deep passing game away (like in the BC game). But make no mistake about it, we will continue to light up teams through the air if that is the poison that they choose.

Personally, I’m stoked.

Moping is finding negativity when there isnt any to find, not pointing out negativity when it is there, but others don't want to hear it...

Slurping... always seeing the glass is half full, even when it is filled with ****.

Bully slurping is serving the **** to others and getting mad when they won't drink it... because it's ****...

We are 3-0. Looked solid doing it, with room to improve and heal up.

What is there to be negative about heading into Temple?

OP is moping about mopes…
This post is a masterpiece, and all FACTS!

My mope jersey was retired when we hired Mario.

Crazy how the mopes disappear when the product is good... and appear when the product is bad. Maybe, just maybe... some people express objectively what they see.
Doesn’t a mope need bad news in order to mope about? Like why wouldn’t they disappear when things are going well?

If we beat UNC and Clemson and roll into that FSU game undefeated, the hype around this program is gonna put what’s going on in Colorado to shame

Obviously can’t totally abandon the run. No team does. Dawson has said he’s gonna take what the defense gives him. That statement is the most encouraging one we’ve heard in a long time and so far Dawson has done exactly that.

Wannabe Miami took the deep ball away so he threw short and intermediate routes and ran it down their throats. 8 & 4 played to stop the run so he burned them with some explosives. And playing to win instead playing not to lose is a breath of fresh air.

It’s only been 3 games but so far, it’s been a helluva lot of fun.
