Mario in-game decisions

Dawson had generally a good game, but that pass Cam almost fumbled for a scoop and score TD was an astriciously bad call. 2nd and 3 with 4-5 mins left and they run the play w 20 seconds left on playclock, which was idiotic, and then even more idiotic Dawson calls a pass when they were destroying the D w the run.

that's the question, would you rather have taken a 10 point lead with less than 2 minutes to go and L'Ville having no timeouts or..

that 14 point lead that Miami got after that Martinez run?

Sometimes time is more important that points or yards. Sometimes its the other way around. Understanding that is really the essence of game/clock management

He still has much work to do on timeouts.

Two weeks in a row he called a timeout, when the opponent had a 4th and 1, and both times they turned into wasted timeouts. Plus the other team then gets more time to put in a play. The Cal timeout was a disaster.

Only real bone-headed move, and it was a big one, was rushing to the line and snapping the ball with 30 seconds left on the play clock on the play that they initially called a fumble and touchdown return. We're in field goal range and about to go up two scores, you run that play clock down. I don't know what the **** they were doing, but it almost cost us big time.
I think we got greedy there because of earlier in the game where we rushed to the line and hit Brown for the easy TD

There’s times when you make a call so against the grain that it works perfectly

But that absolutely was not one of those times I agree
