I tend to agree with this due to the fact that when Mario was first hired...there was a ton of momentum with not just Mario himself but the resources that were being pledged and promised into the program.It became apparent to me weeks ago that there’s a very good chance that he whiffed on a bunch of those OC’s. They weren’t able to “being their guys” and maybe a number of them didn’t want to be forced to run a regressive offense.
I think we can confidently say at this point that Mario has an issue, dating back to Oregon, of not being able to identify, woo, and retain a quality offensive staff.
What this all means is that Rad HAS to get involved with the search for Gattis' replacement. Mario simply can't be trusted to make that hire.
