I'm completely done if they hire him. will not watch anymore canes football.

I'm **** near done as it is just holding on by a thread waiting to see who the next coach is

He REALLY wants the job. local radio and other people will push for him. Im not feeling it. he was 3-9 when he got fired.

he has experience under both Butch and Saban. Also with Schiano. I know he will recruit well but I'm just not feeling him.

Can anyone make me a legit case for him?
1st Butch second Chud , Third Pruitt> Way back here is christabal

its really ***cing simple.

fire FHEG - yesterday
hire Butch - today

worst case scenario of hiring Butch is that we have a loaded roster in a few years but cant get over the hump and win a NC

No thanks, give me a quality Head Coach.

I hate this "great recruiter" quality. The best recruiter I know is named Winning.

Some of you are just nuts. Im sorry. Christobal, Chudzinski, Mark Stoops?!? What the **** have any of these guys ever accomplished at this level that warrants a head coaching job here? Christobal got fired at FIU.....FIU?!?! Chud is a coordinator and his one year as a HC he went 4-12, and Mark Stoops is 11-18 without a marquee win to his name. Guys, this next hire is too crucial to spend money on flyweights.

talk to anyone who knows chud or been around him.
That's not an answer. What has Chud done that people keep mentioning his name that indicates he would lead this program back to prominence and competing and winning national championships. What makes Chud stand out over any other NFL offensive coordinator or one year head coach?

And this isn't just at you. I hear his name mentioned all the time and not once has anyone indicated what makes him a such a great candidate for the job

No one ever has provided a good argument for him. All they do is talk about how Cleveland screwed him for firing him after going 4-12.

He's only mentioned on here because he played here. If he played at Georgia he'd be just another OC no one was talking about.

This would be the worst decision the administration could ever make. The nail in the coffin. You do not hire coaches with a pedestrian resume.

FWIW Pete said on Twitter Miami doesn't want Cristobal.

I thought he was standing outside the Hecht in the cold like an orphan on Christmas. But hopefully this is true. Cristobal is a disaster.

And lol at Chud. Fvck no.

If they hire Cristobal I would be done with the program.

Recruiting is like tenth on the list of qualities we need in a HC.

Really curious why you think recruiting is like 10th on our list, maybe you can elaborate?

Saban places it first. I think his blueprint has been pretty successful bringing back a team that lost its way.

We have more D1 teams recruiting in our back yards than any other program in the country.

And the concentration of talent in our area is the only real competitive advantage that we have over every other program in the country year in and year out.

So ******* what?

Ron Zook was a **** of a recruiter who put lots of emphasis on it too.

Saban is successful because he's the best coach in the nation. Recruiting is a fraction of his responsibilities, maybe not 10th on our list, but it's just a portion. Recruiting good players doesn't mean **** if you can't do anything with them. See Miami for the past 12 years for evidence.

Why do faqgits keep bringing this loser up? He's a Mexican Folden.

Seriously dude do you have to attack every single poster?

Is you life really that pathetic? Do you attack the bag boy as well or even old lady crossing guards.

If you don't like the thread then keep out, you dont have to post.

You have 14K posts and 90% of them are just to call people names.

Props... job well done... people literally hate you are pray you die a slow and painful death.

I seriously hope you don't have kids or a wife. If you do please let us know your address so we can get the 5.0 to get them out of there alive.

I don't think anyone would argue against recruiting being incredibly important. A coach at Miami doesn't have a chance of achieving greatness if they can't capitalize on this program's greatest built-in advantage, which is our recruiting base.

But as every Miami fan has witnessed firsthand for the past several years, a coach's ability to recruit completely dies when their deficiencies on the sidelines get exposed. Every new coach at a high-profile school gives that program an immediate recruiting boost that usually lasts for a couple years. Their ability to sustain that is entirely based on whether there's visible progress being made on the field.

If you're unable to put your players in optimal positions to succeed and adjust your schemes to your personnel rather than trying to fit square pegs into round holes, recruiting doesn't mean s***. It means everything, however, if you can actually coach and get the most out of those players. Difference makers can only change a program if they're allowed to make a difference, not become rigid robots.

You're calling another person's life pathetic in the same post where you tell someone on a message board that people hope and pray they die a slow and painful death.

Holy s***

This. I'm tired of his name being bandied around cause he's a former Cane. He doesn't have a single quality that stands out aside from recruiting and as we've all just experienced recruiting means nothing when you can't coach and run a program and make no mistake Cristobal cannot coach or run a program.

I agree he would be a horrible candidate but people need to realize that he will be this admins top 5 and very well could be our next coach.

I have zero confidence in our admins ability to do the right thing.

Maybe we should just start those banners now.
