Mario Cristobal

All we need is another massive prick that doesn't know what he's doing and that has never won anything in his life...**** NO

Pass on Alejandro Golden.

The only people propping him up are dopey Cuban CanesFam members and his buddy Feldman.

You might as well save the effort and just paint a chinstrap on Golden.

Anyone seriously hyping Cristobal needs to get a grip on reality.

If they hire Cristobal I would be done with the program.

Recruiting is like tenth on the list of qualities we need in a HC.
This. I'm tired of his name being bandied around cause he's a former Cane. He doesn't have a single quality that stands out aside from recruiting and as we've all just experienced recruiting means nothing when you can't coach and run a program and make no mistake Cristobal cannot coach or run a program.

Would be a nice fit as the second in command under Chud.

i think chud is a great choice but once NFL calls him, he is gone and we start from scratch again
Chud is not a great choice. Please show me what he has done that makes you think he's a great choice to be the next head coach other than being a former coach at Miami. What makes him different than any other OC from the NFL?

He REALLY wants the job. local radio and other people will push for him. Im not feeling it. he was 3-9 when he got fired.

He has experience under both Butch and Saban. Also with Schiano. I know he will recruit well but I'm just not feeling him.

Can anyone make me a legit case for him?

Then why not hire his bosses? ...excluding Schianno.

Hire his boss Butch Davis who also has experience of hiring the best coaches, and putting together some of the greatest players who earned about 3 championships, including one stolen by BCS and the other by a ref.

Or hire his boss Nick Lou Saban (Related to old UM Coach Lou Saban, and who lived and coached in the city of Miami) has experience of hiring the best coaches and putting together some of the greatest players that earned about 3 championships, stolen by no one. **** yeah, make a pitch to Saban too to coach here, tell that **** he could come to UM and make it the best team in town and make himself the best coach in town, make Cane fans the best fans in town, and dare to fill the Sun Life with more Cane fans than Dolphins do with Dolfans. It's a **** of a challenge that Saban may well dare himself to take. And pay him no less than at Bama. Vault this! ...then send it to Senor Frenk. Tell Frenk one Cane2 approved sending a scout to Nick!

We need a head coach, not a head recruiter. No one can try to make a case for Cristobal that doesn't revolve around the words "South Florida recruiting ties."

Cristobal continues the cycle of hiring cheap, lazy, uninspiring coaches who hold this program back and sink us further into irrelevance. Cristobal, Kiffin, Strong, and Schiano are all "**** no" candidates.
Amen

talk to anyone who knows chud or been around him.
That's not an answer. What has Chud done that people keep mentioning his name that indicates he would lead this program back to prominence and competing and winning national championships. What makes Chud stand out over any other NFL offensive coordinator or one year head coach?

And this isn't just at you. I hear his name mentioned all the time and not once has anyone indicated what makes him a such a great candidate for the job

Pro-Style offense bro!

I'm not big on Chud either. There's a reason he's called Rod Dudzinski on these boards. HBC in college needs to do it all - recruit, setup gameplans, meet with boosters, etc. Rob doesn't strike me as the guy to be the CEO/face of the team kind of guy. A coordinator? Absolutely. HBC? Don't think so, at least not yet.
