Mario Cristobal

As good of a recruiter he is, that is how bad he is as a gameday coach.

If we were ever in a big game and he mismanaged it, this board would explode.

Tell me how bad of a game day coach is he? Give me examples.

So let me get this right. Mario gets blamed for his coaches & their decisions yet manny doesnt? Manny can get better with experience yet mario cant? Kool. Good talk. You feel free to give him whatever excuse you want. Yall fans known to do that till you just decide you wont. I know what I'm looking at though & you're in for bumpy ride if youre hoping this improves any time soon.

Mario has had 5+ seasons of sample size and the guy still makes the dumbest mistakes. How does any coach make the blunder of what he did last year against Stanford? Wasn’t Manny the one last year to tell Richt not to score against FSU so they could just run out the clock?

You have a certain bias against Manny and certain staff members, which is fine because we all have bias when it comes to certain things but I’m not going to go rip into a dude 6 games into his tenure as a first year HC losing 3 games by 1 score or less

If the team blows the rest of the season and he decides not to make changes this off season like his predecessors then yes I’ll rip into the guy

Wrong. It may appear I have a bias against staff or staff members. However my bias and my loyalty is to my university that has always been loyal to me & my family which doesnt need explaining. A spade is a spade. Period. This staff doesnt cut it. But if patience is ur thing do u. I'm not gonna get into the mario stuff anymore. It's pointless. I shouldnt have ever chimed in to begin with. It just feeds the sickness. Luckily for the patient sorts nothing will be changing here anytime soon.

So far he’s had Bama and Nike money to recruit. But still as a HC he’s underperformed in the weak PAC 12 with a 1st rd qb.

So his first full season at Oregon he improved the team from 7-6 to 9-4...….a team coached by Taggart.....and this year he is sitting at 5-1 and ranked in the top 15.

That's a strong post by you.

YOU MEAN LIKE MANNY HAS DONE IN 3 GAMES THIS YEAR...

What are the game management mistakes in the three games this year? There is a lot to ***** about with this team thus far but game management is pretty low on the list in my opinion.

The UF game was a toss up and the UNC and VT games were lost by incredibly slow starts in the 1Q.

This weekly discussion is a stupid one anyway b/c Mario didn't come here and isn't coming anytime soon and Manny is here and isn't leaving anytime soon.

Blake James glory hole boy is back.

And got beat by a running true freshman qb when he has a top 10 qb on his squad. Yeah bring him down. Come on rook, do better.

He lost to a team that is ranked higher than his team..... a team that is better than his team from top to bottom. Do you even watch college football outside of Miami? That same Auburn team would absolutely destroy Manny.

Is that why he let let them comeback from 21-6? Bo Nix went 13/31 that game

Also a shame you think that Auburn team is actually any good, Bo Nix limits that team tremendously

miami doesnt have a top 5 pick at QB as a senior either.

The dude can recruit !

Something that Manny can't do..
I agree he can recruit but put him at UM going up against the best recruiters is a different animal. Especially with the leadership at UM hindering the sport of football. Too hard a job even for him.....his roster at Oregon is already better then this roster at UM

Points taken, but you didn't answer my question. 6 games into Randy's tenure, we sucked and you're saying he had poor social skills and couldn't get an OC, yet you were on board with supporting him? Al & Mark chose friendship and family over the program, yet you were on board with supporting them? But what has transpired here in the first 6 games has caused you to lose interest quicker than any of those situations? I just can't see how that's possible. But it's your opinion. If you ask me, you had some sort of predisposed notions going in if what transpired with Randy wasn't as concerning in your mind as what's transpired so far with Manny.

Randy had #1 recruiting class so that was a positive. Al wasn’t this widely exposed after 5 games, had a better staff and previous HC experience. Mark had a track record of success as a HC and hired Manny to coach the D.

Product on the field, staff makeup, and recruiting; you have to deliver in one of those areas. Manny destroyed a great defense he made, hired dudes he can’t fire, and isn’t a proven recruiter. I’ll admit I t’s early, but it doesn’t look good.

manny stepped in after five games in order to get the D back on track. thats more than any of the previous HCs ever did with regards to their beloved units (golden wouldnt replace dorito or the scheme and richt wouldnt hire an OC or do anything to change the O). who says he hired dudes he cant fire? baker is his hire and stepped over him to get the D right. six games and you guys have made conclusions is pretty dumb. this year hasnt been great, but hes six games into his career. give him a full year and an offseason to make changes before we come down to any final conclusions.

i trust manny will do whatever it takes to get the D right (as weve seen w the UVA game), but the real question for me is whether **** force enos to change the scheme.
