Is anyone actually bullish on this person?

I have been a Miami fan since I could **** myself and I graduated from the school. I just don’t see it.

Yeah, maybe he can recruit a little bit, but the fact that it takes a year for him to actually hire someone that runs a somewhat normal offense is absurd.

I am beyond annoyed with him, but please convince me otherwise.

You get the players first. If you then can't get over the hump, it's ok to trade for a couple of pure schematic guys to try to win it all. No one wins without the players. Recruiting comes first.

Were you 1 of the playoff bound bros when the hire was announced? Nobody was happy with last season, Mario most of all. Anyone that thought this wouldn’t take some time was fooling themselves though.

Lotta people in this thread will act like they haven’t been “beyond annoyed” by Mario, just like you.

If you weren’t beyond annoyed with him this year you didn’t watch a single game.

Mario has been described, by some, as 'hard-headed'. Meaning, he refuses to adjust. Manny, coincidentally, was the exact opposite. Manny wasn't afraid to scrap his OC (Enos) after one season, even though he came from a heralded program, Alabama.

I would say, if anything, Mario pulled a manny-esque move, and I would like to congratulation him for being man enough to step outside his comfort zone, a bit (and I say that because I believe, this offense will look similar to what Oregon ran when Mario held the Co-OC title there).

While many of us have complained about how slow this process has been, I believe Mario has learned from his mistakes from year one, and considering coaching dynamics this go around. Instead of looking at coaches accolades, like last year, this year he hired two G5 co-ordinators, who both appear to have excellent results.

I feel like, last year, Mario went all swinging-d*ck and made splash hires. This year, it's been the exact opposite.

I commend Mario for these hires. I know the staff isn't compete yet, but, we are definitely seeing a trend. Hopefully, this also leads to some stability. TVD is about to learn his third offense, Jacurri, his second. We won't be 'BACK' this way.

Was your first **** at the hospital?

I have my questions to if he can win it all or not, but I have zero question about him making this team **** good again.

I will say this. His willingness to admit he made mistakes and rearrange this staff may be the thing that really pays off. These 2 OC and DC hires are legit and now he is filling in with younger hungrier types vs old school vets or a cave man OC like Gattis.

I initially thought it was Mario that may have been stubborn with hiring an OC. I went ape **** when he hired Gattis. After this past season with the adjustment after game 4, finishing the season with a true 50/50 run/pass offense and now moving to an OC who can take full advantage of both TVD and Jacurri's skill sets I am very happy with the hiring of both coordinators. Both aggressive, creative and up-to-date no doubt, then filling in with younger hungrier recruiters from successful programs doing

I feel like both of the new coordinators are better hires for a program looking to build itself up. I believe we are on the right path.
