I don’t see any possible way 8-4 is huge for recruiting. This means you lost the Coastal when in a couple of days the media will select the Canes to win the Coastal in my opinion. Anything less will be a disappointment; winning the Coastal…
 
Whether the big wins come this year or not, I just want it to “look” different. Mario made specific mention to two areas that I’ll be looking at this year: tackling and penalties. We will need a heck of a lot more than that to get where we want to go, but those areas have been weaknesses for our entire drop off since the mid-2000s, so marked improvement there would have me excited that we are on the right track.
 
Awesome. As a Cuban American, everything hits home from his dad being incarcerated as my dad to his parents coming over and working to give him and his brother an opportunity to be as successful as possible with the hard work ethic that was instilled by our parents. I get to be with my brother everyday as we own our company together. As much you value success, it is so much more valued when you do it with and around the people you love the most. I’m one of his biggest fans already.

Hes basically saying in a nice way that the roster isnt as good as the fans be thinking (the super homers). They have to be told this lol dont know why but ay................I have been saying the roster isnt as good as what people think. Yall see the 23 class? Thats real old UM type building so im patient with this process just bring me the savages in the trenches and stack the deck. I know that took time for Kirby Urban Saban Jimbo etc, u have to stack the deck to win big.

But he also doesn’t know how bad the teams we play are compared to us. We have top 15 talent, not one other team in the coastal does. So yeah, there’s plenty of talent. Enough to get to the ACCG.

It is his way of slightly tempering expectations for us fans. I for one in no way expect 12-0 11-1. Unless TVD is an actual QB prodigy.

9-3 8-4 should be attainable with the schedule given.

I am going to be glued to this board the first time Mario doesn't call a Time Out when he has to or blows a 13 point lead to UNC and losses. That will be gold.
