Beck is who I thought he was. I'm thankful he helped get us to the title game, but there's no denying he has limitations. Whether that was due to him still recovering from injury or whatnot doesn't matter at this point. Good luck to him in the future.

As for Mensah, my brother-in-law is a Duke grad. Before Mensah transferred he told me Mensah was loose/careless with the ball. When I went to watch a game, I was expecting to see a crazy gunslinger, but actually came away super impressed. He has arm strength and accuracy. The one thing though was dude likes to fit throws in tight windows. I think that's probably what my brother-in-law is referring to. But, the game I watched him play, I thought kid had moxie. I think he's gonna do real well at the U.

He doesn't need to play hero ball here. He's got enough support at WR and in the run game.

What I observe is a lot of people who talk badly about Beck and a few people who talk badly about Ward. Whatever happens with these QBs in their future as pros, both groups are wrong when discussing their impact and results as Canes.

As far as Mensah is concerned, I'm already on record saying I think he's the best QB in college this year. There are some decent QBs out there, too, several more than last season. Chambliss, Mateer, Moore, Carr, Manning. I do think Chambliss is very good. But I think Mensah will be the best of the bunch when it's all said and done.

Coach has another calling as a ghostwriter for battle rap or any artist that needs help painting lines vividly. He always dropping punchlines that have me tearing up laughing haha 😭🤣
