But that is a bigger thing than the let’s blow Mario..... he’s not going to have the same success with less resources so the envy is kinda odd for the coach vs the Nike backed organization...

Indeed. It was impressive patience and physicality. The straight ahead running game bailed out that game. Herbert was hyper and not having much luck on straight dropbacks until the running game opened up everything.

Still, Oregon's defense got a bit exposed and the offense features too many completions behind the line of scrimmage. That's barely okay against a team of Washington 2019 caliber but they are not ready to move up in class.

Those numbers were straight from Romberg's podcast. 500k for recruiting. Clemson gives 1.5 mil. UGA and Alabama allocate 2 mil plus to recruiting. No reason for him to lie about the numbers. 1 million is such a ludicrously small amount for a school with an endowment larger than 1 billion dollars. That's 350 million larger than Clemson's and 400 million larger than FSU. But Miami won't pony up more than 500k for recruiting. Our admin is pathetic. Everyone looks at this big numbers like coaches salaries. No one looks at the small numbers like amounts for recruiting or the number of assistants and "analysts" attached to the program. Those small numbers are why it doesn't really matter what HC is at Miami. He isn't given the resources to succeed.
 
I don’t want to hear **** from the “We can do better then Mario” crew. We are officially a joke program. It’s over. We don’t have the right to call any potential hire a bad hire anymore. We are so bad, NOBODY called me to talk **** about us losing to GT. That’s how you know we have hit rock bottom. We need to humble ourselves a little here.
