Mario cast a pretty wide net for OC

I won't get into any argument in that as in general it's right. Now ask a fair number of people on here that #1 know for fact who I am and #2 when they've shown they are real fans of ours or have shown they support us that I've personally got tickets for. I've put them in seats with other alumni and families and in some instance say there with them or when the stands or the weather wasn't too my liking I brought them with me into the dean's box at the stadium. Atleast 20 people on here could tell you if they choose to I've done that for them. Only thing I have ever asked any of the people on here to do is to simply not give into things like this game you just tried to play and tell people who I am. Cause me I'm who I am and I've lived my life for me and mine. Lived it to the fullest and as a result several generations of my family are good to go. Proving that to someone like you simply ain't in my cards... Sorry if you don't agree. But I'm gonna do me.

A lot involves intent. What is the purpose of an opinion or the words used in such? Extremely difficult to determine someone’s intent unless the opinion or words are used regularly and consistently.

Over time, it becomes clearer on this board who knows what they’re talking about. I’m aware of your credentials so your insight and perspective outweighs many others. Do I worship you? LOL. With ALL due respect, no. But I highly RESPECT your knowledge and experience. We may not always agree but we can do it in a respectful manner and remain message board friends.

thats fine. Im sure you are who you say are. I do think you prolly played for UM just bc others have said the same but thats all I have lol. I haven't met you so it is what it is. you also dont need to prove it. its a forum full of unknown users. it doesn't matter in the end.

It’s true we don’t personally know the majority of the people on this site. However, you and I, especially you from the onset of this site, can determine who knows what their talking about and who doesn’t.

I agree on that. there are certainly more knowledgeable posters that I take an interest post wise. I just dont care if there are debates. everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Lol. It's not even a matter of friends though brother. Me I simply respect the people that have shown they care about us. That matters to me. Not the fair weather people. Not the people who do nothing but *****. But the people who actually care about this university and these teams. For those people some of which I didn't know at all previously and some of which I'm not even in communication with now I'll still look out just when I feel it. Cause it's no sweat off my back to do so and it's simply me being me.

Absolutely. When it's warranted. What business do you know that goes from 20 years on the verge of bankruptcy to fortune 500 overnight. It's rare. Give people a chance to prove themselves. It wasn't anywhere close to that bad when Mandy was named the coach. When EVERYONE knew he was gonna fail. Now we're all in & it's still NOT ENOUGH. It's a process. These same people were calling for Butch's head on a daily until he proved that he built some of the best teams in the history of college football. It's fine to say we as message board fans don't effect what goes on with this team. Even though it's been proven over and over that players their families and media ALL COME ON HERE FOR DIRT... So at what point do people as fans say WE WANT BETTER THAN WE NEED TO BE BETTER. These same people see these inbreeder semenholes, gayturds etc. always bring up how our stadium is 3 quarters empty. How were not serious about our sports. Well the university showed you the ONLY WAY THEY CAN, we dead serious about turning this **** around. When are fans gonna do their part? If y'all fans who have been through it all and have reached this point then support your team and show these boys you're all in also.

Fans do need to do their part, however when they believe in something that is real then you get the Miami vs ND atmosphere at Hard Rock….mane’ **** was legendary. Last years 5-7 recor threw cold water on a lot of fan’s potential dreams under Mario.

I was against Miami hiring Mario and so far I’ve been proven right……5-7, high staff turnover in his 1st year as HC, he has failed in year one. Let’s see what Tomorrow brings with wins and losses moving forward

You don't see the issue with what youre saying? You're mentioning as a bright point something that happened like 5 years ago... Is that what we should expect out of fans? Once every 5 years y'all support us? Far as Mario failing in year 1 that's a lil crazy to me. What was he supposed to do with an entire turnover from coaches to players? I'm curious how do you think we do last year with all the same injuries if Mandy was still here? I'm not here to try to convince anyone anything about where we go from here. As what's his name said everyone is entitled to opinions. I guess my problem is simply I would like to see everyone capable of intelligently applying context here.

Posters that said stop bashing other coaches and the program saying it’s not good for the school or the players and that players and families visit this site were called slurpers for years..…

End of 2021 fans were saying Miami had the talent to win 10 games. “Any competent coach would have won 10 games.”

Miami hires what was to be a super competent coach in Mario and we win 5 games and now we are the relax friend, everything takes time, be calm and Cane on, for the greater good.

Lots of people talking out of both sides of their mouths to defend Mario.

You’re still calling him Mandy and have been from the jump. Everyone knew he would fail, especially the ones who wanted Mario hired then…

Fans want wins, or at least good, competitive games. Making the effort to go to games becomes less and less fun.

There was no reason to get boat raced multiple times last year. That was a failure from top to bottom.
