Mario called out the team

I'm going to give him 3 years. We don't have a choice anyways but wow his gameday coaching sucks. No wonder Stanford beat him last year

This is nothing new under him. At OU he had 1-2 losses every year he should have never had. He has always been a trash game day coach. The ONLY chance he ever has succeeding as a HC is to hire ELITE coordinators, give them full autonomy and be a CEO/Recruiter. Anything less than that and he is maybe slightly an above .500 coach.

How many times did Mario say "rebuilding" in his post game presser?

Did I read that Jaylon Knighton, 3.8 YPC for his career, moves the ball? Lol

Not only does he NOT move the ball, dude has fumbled the the ball 5 times in the past year and a half. Not only is he a trash RB, he is a liability everytime he touches the ball or when he is asked to block.
Knighton is a 3rd down back who shouldn’t see the field for a couple of games after a fumble.

Dude, not even. He is nothing. He is under 4 YPC for his career, with plenty of touches and only a handful of big catches the past 3 years. Overall he doesn't provide enough in the passing game either. He has 35 catches and 4 TDs in 23 career games. He should never see the field at UM again.

Knighton needs to finish his career at a place like FIU. He is not a power 5 back.

He's getting AT LEAST 5. And at the rate he's going he's going to be at least 50 lbs over his playing weight by then too.

Completely OT but of course we'd hire a tough guy/culture coach.....that immediately gets fat as our coach.

Dude obviously isn't getting results from supposedly working 20 hrs per day so mayyybe he's overthinking everything and should start allocating some treadmill time....instead of studying analytics about the benefits of establishing the run once you're down 30.

it's so funny that people are complaining about a coach preaching toughness when our team's entire identity for the past half decade or more has been literally never tackling and folding like a lawn chair at the first sight of adversity. criticize the guy for not being able to actually coax that out of the players, sure. but being mad about the press conference sound bites is silly, especially when we all know this team desperately does need a massive injection of physicality.

The poor carpenter blames his tools.

he has looked like he didn't waste any time hitting up Isla canarias

So now what? Mario isn’t going anywhere and we are only 7 games in anyway. We asked for a commitment to the program and money and resources were ponied up. We can say we should have hired Lane but he had warts as well although many knew ahead of time that he was the better hire as it pertained to the roster we currently had. Point is that, whether you think Mario is still the guy or you think we fvcked it up, he is our horse. If he fails, this program is doneso. So either stop watching or be very very patient.
Objectively speaking we got blown out against MTSU and Duke. If that's not doneso idk what is.

too bad we didnt hire lanning and brought his entire staff here bc that OL was there too last year w Mario coaching and they went over 40 three times. so where's the next excuse captain save a hoe?
Bo Nix says hello.

For all the crap he got at Auburn he has been money for Oregon, UGA game notwithstanding.

And yes, it was Mario who didn‘t have someone ready to take over for Herbert at QB last season.
