Richts players quit on Diaz in his first season but fortunately a lot of those quitters were upperclassmen who left the program right after. The team generally played hard for Diaz the next two years, even rallying to win 6 of their last 7 after King went down. The entire roster- upper and lower classmen - looks like they don't want to play for Cristobal and based on his lack of success in the portal compared to Kiffin and some others, it looks like players on other teams dont want to play for Cristobal either.

Fair points. While I'm glad Manny is gone, seems his players played harder for him last season than the current roster does for Mario. Only thing missing that we haven't heard from today is that one of our assistants was telling the recruits after the game that they could come in and take all the jobs of the players on the roster right now. In front of said players. **This was something that Clint Hurtt did once while coaching under Shannon. Not something that happened today.**

Great point about the portal. Mesidor is a player. Parrish is a solid RB. Other than that, this portal class was full of depth guys at best.
