U know me I'm a believer the best teams have the best evaluators and closers. I look at UGA who haven't won a title cause of Saban and Bama.....those are the two monster and we can all laugh at UGA but I'll take what they do 100 times out of 100. They make high value NFL picks who represent their college team at the NFL. I hate sending scrubs to the league I want dominant teams that send future super stars to the NFL.

He recruited well enough to win games there. I’m not sure but @SouthParkCane is probably a good person to ask if Art Briles recruited well at Baylor.

He's the greatest program builder of all time. Baylor was a dead end when he took over.

I’d been saying that Oregon was going to lose a few games on this very board for weeks now lol. Anthony Brown isn’t a good enough QB and they’re decimated by injuries. Getting into conference play where teams know you a lot better is going to be tougher. Regardless of what the perception is talent wise. They’ve still got to play Washington and UCLA too.

Offense leaves much to be desired but I’d hope he could find an OC
But his defense would be elite not a doubt in my mind
