Mario C

Mario has already got the call from UM. He's just trying to keep his price down now by keeping it close and not blowing teams out. 4D chess my guys.

Brains like yours, why aren’t you working on the deficit.

What are the two main problem areas for Miami?

It’s both the offensive & Defensive trenches. Mario would fix that right away. Once that is fixed, the current talent on the roster is enough to win games & allow for better classes to be stacked on top of that talent.

Your basing this off what he’s done at Oregon..who has more resources than Miami

Prestige? Conference? Recruiting territory? Oregon has the resources to recruit anywhere they want. Matter of fact I’d argue they have huge advantages in that west coast northern west coast region..they are the big fish is a really big pond out there..we are 1 of 3 big fish in a small fertile pond..problem is EVERYONE Knows it. Everyone prioritizes Southflorida and the south East now..It’s not a given. Mario is not a lock to turn this around to win at the level this Fanbase expects imo..and if he had lost to a team like Stanford with top 5 Miami squad..he’d get killed for it. Especially with the way he managed the clock and the undisciplined play in the last 4 min
1. Depends what you define as a resource. If Miami is good and Oregon is good 9/10 kids will go to Miami because of location and being on a team that has national recognition, national championship history, and is an nfl feeder school. Paying kids and faculties they may have us, but NIL has cut that money gap by a significant amount.

2. Outside of QBs south Floridas 5th string is better than most California recruits so stop with that. Oregon is also always going to be second fiddle to USC most years in a recruits eyes.

3. you forget very quickly Mario just beat Ohio state. Some Miami fans would give their left nut for that. It’s college football teams get upset almost every week. What was it 13 out of the top 25 lost this week. Mario would bring the culture, discipline, and he understand the legacy that U on the helmets actual stands for. I believe he would be hands down the best realstic person for the job and most people on this board who have seen Miami as a national power seem to agree. Mario would dominate south Florida/oline recruiting like trob has corner back recruiting.

**Duke or Syracuse

I’m convinced most here don’t follow CFB outside of Miami and what concerns Miami..but what ppl think Mario is or has been..he’s not been that guy. His solid tho. But at Oregon he had huge advantages. And if he fails to make the playoffs this year it’s a failure Imo

He was a failure last year but i guess he gets a covid pass. lol

Mario has his mind on Coral Gables, not Stanford. It would have been a tough pull if Oregon made the playoffs.

If mario was here and lost to an unranked team while we were number 3 and ****ed away any chance at a playoff spot half the people on this site would be calling for his head. And in case some weren't watching the game stanford outplayed oregon most of the game.

With out a doubt. Top 3, healthy and lose to a team like Stanford? And the way they lost was all on coaching. Was penalties and clock management

NIL hasn't done one single thing to cut the money gap by a significant amount. In fact Oregon is about to pull 100 miles further ahead in the money gap because of NIL. Their DE got a $100,000 deal. Phil Knight just set up a shell company to pay them. Our fans are circle jerking about $500 a month

I'm a ******* idiot then. 57-57 record as head coach doesn't impress me at all. I don't care if he can sign every 5 star in the nation. If you can't coach then it doesn't matter.. He is a experiment. That's NOT what we need
You do realize he took over a team in fiu in 07 that didn’t win a game the year before right? took them to two straight bowl games and a conf title. Only 5 years after they played their first game ever? At Oregon he’s 30-11 with two pac 12 titles and a rose bowl win. He’s more known to recruits than anyone on our list.

This. I think within 2 years, we can be competitive with a good coach. I think talent is not as bad as some people make it out. I think you have some smart portal kids and we can turn this around pretty quickly.

QB - really good room
RB - really good room
WR - starting to turn around and 2022 is STACKED with studs that we have a great shot with
TE - Arroyo will be great but need a stud to backup
OL - oof. Couple portal kids would stem the tide
DL - Need to land Shemar/Kelly and will probably need a couple portal kids
LB - oof. I imagine the coach will employ a position similar to striker which reduces the necessity to have a lot of LBs, but a couple portal kids can stem the tide
CB - we have a terrific class coming in this year
S - have some studs

Mario is no question better than Manny. Mario will have you more consistent and def tougher and more physical. he will still blow games he shouldn't. he won't get us to a title, but **** get us closer than we are. we just have to be okay with not being elite but being good under Mario (consistently good). if that's oaky, then Mario is the guy. im on board w Mario only bc hes the best were gonna do. I don't see why Lane would leave the SEC and Ole Miss for Miami.

this. we won't ever compete in NIL money with the bigger programs either. we don't care enough as a market about CFB (in terms of doing what it takes as a booster/fanbase to be good). we aren't in a traditional college market where its the only thing and the only marketing opp in town. ****, in Gainesville, the UF football players are the celebs and they'll get w.e. deal they want from any local company there.

We had a true freshman making his first start at QB and half a dozen starters out and you want everyone fired.

The amount of spin here justifying Mario’s bad losses is mind boggling
God youre dumb. Talk about spin... it shows a bunch of yall don't even watch the game or really even understand competitive sports.

Losing is part of the game, **** Saban lost to ULM **** happens.

Now get back to your circle jerk.
