I give Mario a lot of **** (deservedly) but he got these guys on the same page and righted the ship when it mattered the most. He deserves credit for that
Perfectly said for me as well tagging on here. He stopped the dreadful prevent offense and defense he’d start running in the third quarter of games and is utilizing capabilities and exploiting weaknesses. Also, the team was way more disciplined today. Pitt did the dumb things we’re usually guilty of. If Mario left today, he raised the floor and image of the program which was the most important first step.

Great point. We’re usually on the bad end of those unsportsmanlike calls and today we were the smart team who stayed composed
 
It's too bad it took an SMU November loss to figure it out but credit has to be given for the changes that were made from our staff to reel off 4 in a row including 2 on the road. The underrated stat is that this was our 7th game in as many weeks due to the funky bye week layout
