Every friend ive shown this to today from clemson fans to unc to vt fans have said this is the dumbest thing they ever saw. And every one said it did nothing but hurt the program.

Maybe they see whats wrong with this program. I showed them the thread bashing kaaya and they laughed like crazy. Saying every team in the country would want him.

They asked why any coach would go to miami when no one goes to gamesans fans fly banners constantly.

This is so much bull****. Every fanbase does this ****. Some are way worst. They're going to tell you that obviously. No one is going to say "Yeah UM fans are classy." That will never come out of another fanbases' mouth no matter how classy UM is. Do you live under a rock?

Auburn fans showed up to the airport to boo Gene Chizik when he was hired, Michigan fans show up to their coaches house in a murderous frenzy and you hear nothing. UM fans fly some banners and we're considered the worst fans in the country. Might as well embrace it because it will always be that way.

2. Did any of those fanbases even remotely have the success UM has endured?

3. Do any of these fans want to see Miami dominate the conference and their teams in the near future?

No, they remember. The BBB crowd falls into 1 of 2 categories ... Guys who still think it's 1995, and guys who were too young to really enjoy when Miami was good, so all they have is 2000 and 2001.

I think Mario would bring a ton of questions, but I think he would get the majority of the recruits he wants. The coaches and players have spoken, plus he can also use the I learned whatever from Saban card. I actually think he would do a better recruiting job than Butch at this point.

Can he coach and form a successful staff? That's my hesitation at this point.

I almost hope he gets hired at this point. The amount of **** talked about him by this fanbase is epic. I'm by no means excusing him at FIU, but toss Saban or Meyer in there I'd predict no more than an extra win or two.

Miami wasn't a top notch place for coaches last time around and because of idiots like this its going to be even less of place that any coach in America would want to come to.

This delusion that every coach wants to come here is a joke. FN Larry Scott will likely turn the job down if offered.

The only guy who really seems to want it is a 64 old coach who couldn't get hired by a high school team and who will not get hired.

The Miami fanbase has a higher % of LDs than the FSU football team. Really not sure why those guys are not rooting for FSU... would just make more sense.

If something like this stops us from locking up recruiting this time around you very well could have just ended any chance of Miami being significant again.
