Mario definitely isn’t happening.
Diaz isn’t getting fired.
No doubtChess, not checkers..
This right here. Agree 100%. When Miami is winning, no one does it like we do. It’s a style and a feel like no other. We can make our barely 60k seat stadium one of the loudest venues in CFB. We just need to dominate.Miami prestige >>> Oregon
Mario is all Miami in his heart
You are correct.Weren’t we already turned down by a guy who bleeds orange & green to come on staff? I believe that was one Kevin Patrick. Matter of fact, believe some who know him said he wouldn’t come back b/c his wife hated the suburban life of Miami; yet, he just joined Willie’s staff at FAU. (I know it’s Boca Raton)
No one wants to come back to this chit hole this admin has created. Mario has it good in Eugene; bout to get a raise, has some of the nicest facilities in the nation, full support from their sponsor, Nike (unlike us w Adidas), and w USC & UCLA down and Peterson unexpectedly leaving U Dub’s sideline, he’s got the whole West Coast to himself for high profile players. Why would he turn all that down for a team that is literally the opposite?
Dude was on staff w Butch & Saban & is a two time national champion; he knows how a football team is supposed be ran and what it looks like....sorry gents, that ain’t us.
I get your point, I just think people are overvaluing how attractive Miami looks right now. We all know the problems we have are deeper than just a new HC, yet people just assume successful P5 coaches want the job. I'm not a Mario fan, but the guy is 20-6 in 2 years and that's worlds better than anyone we've had in a long, long time. Until proven otherwise, I'd assume he's comfortably with all the money and support at Oregon...at least in comparison to the cheap *** nonsense he'd get at Miami. What indications are you looking for? The coach of another program to come out and publicly state that he wants the UM job currently held by someone else?
