Just from a traffic flow standpoint, Tropical Park would be esentially impossible* from public approval and permitting. In person Lemonis is actually a nice guy.
He’s just not a big a deal as some think in the grand scheme of things.
If we do end up with the grand infusion of capital that is being proposed/discussed then he will slide down in order of importance.
My only concern with him is that he’s completely delusional about this Tropical Park stadium nonsense. We’re talking easily half a billion, I have yet to see a financial plan that makes sense doing this, rather than investing in the actual program, coaching, infrastructure, more analysts, etc. etc.
C'mon, he was promoting the school. If we would have won then no one would be complaining about the Turnover ChainI wish people would rip into him but might be best to wait until this process is over. This pic is worth a thousand words!!
Actually it’s worth one word - “Distraction.”
Fake a$$!!
You bring up a good point.C'mon, he was promoting the school. If we would have won then no one would be complaining about the Turnover Chain

Not talking about Manny. Don’t have a problem with what he created with The Chain.C'mon, he was promoting the school. If we would have won then no one would be complaining about the Turnover Chain

You get that.It would literally be a traffic disaster unless you widen or build more lanes/roads. As much as people talk **** about the stadium we have now, it’s actually a great place to play, and it centrally located for the three counties, Tropical Park is a lot more difficult now that people are used to going somewhere central.
Add to that, that at a minimum it’s going to be half a billion to get something halfway decent, for six games a year, and then it’s going have to be used for other things and even then it won’t earn its keep.
People think the Palmetto is death now.It would literally be a traffic disaster unless you widen or build more lanes/roads. The Turn Ova Chain era was interesting. But it should have been put on the shelf ore retired when the team didn’t merit that level of swag.
I hope they are put on display at UM.

Add a stadium and it will just be a permanent parking Lot
Completely disagree. The 826 already has exits on both Bird and Miller, and new bypass exits could be built directly into the park, similar to what the Turnpike did with Hard Rock.Just from a traffic flow standpoint, Tropical Park would be esentially impossible* from public approval and permitting.

826 would absolutely have to be reimagined to accommodate, but it could be done. Billion dollar project.People that think Tropical Park is a good idea have probably never even driven around that area. Just from a traffic standpoint I don’t see it. You’re right - 826 is a parking lot most of the time anyway.
Man it’s already bad enough going to basketball or baseball games and just sitting on US1 forever - and that’s not even attendance traffic that’s just regular traffic. Same kind of deal near tropical park. Imagine getting off on that one exit off of 826 with stadium traffic.
Yep! It’s Bird Road exit.People that think Tropical Park is a good idea have probably never even driven around that area. Just from a traffic standpoint I don’t see it. You’re right - 826 is a parking lot most of the time anyway.

Absolutely... people who love Joe Robbie and the fish or those who live in Broward or N. Dade will spin everything negative.Completely disagree.
