In person Lemonis is actually a nice guy.

He’s just not a big a deal as some think in the grand scheme of things.

If we do end up with the grand infusion of capital that is being proposed/discussed then he will slide down in order of importance.

My only concern with him is that he’s completely delusional about this Tropical Park stadium nonsense. We’re talking easily half a billion, I have yet to see a financial plan that makes sense doing this, rather than investing in the actual program, coaching, infrastructure, more analysts, etc. etc.

I disagree. I don’t see why a BoT member board saying education is more important at a university than athletics but that it’s not one or the other is contradictory or a bad thing. The important part is he cares about football, has money, and doesn’t like Manny.
Oh I agree. I have just interpreted his "E before W" and "loyalty" messaging in the context of defending Manuela, he needs more time, blah, blah, blah.

Also considering the timimg of his "loyalty" comment in light of Flake's public distancing from Manuela, and then what was reported as further previous irritations with James... I guess sorta, really does make sense the Columbus Crew basically decided James' fate earlier than some had thought...

I don't get the rate for Marcus. Sure he promotes himself but he cares about football more than most of our other boosters and gives to the program more than most of our former players. Boosters speak as a group, you wouldn't want one booster running their mouth to the media.
