Perez with a double. Now everyone has a hit.
I keep looking in the record books for the list of college baseball players that hit 1.000, with an ERA of 0.00 and a flawless fielding percentage not to make it to MLB.... the Internet just circles me back to the Wizards Den...Not according to our expert ex college athlete fans on this forum. One of them goes to coaches conferences. gasp!! LMAO at the Negative Nellie's. Flawed, but cheer for them.
The FSU series has to be the most puzzling series in UM baseball history. Other than those 3 games where we were annihilated, the team has played very well.
But Ibis these guys played D1 ball and hit 400. One of them is a hall of fame scout and coach! He is so smart the pro scouts will stop scouting Fl players. I caught some of the game tonight. It is so weird, this team is beating up on the second-tier FL teams like rented mules....then get to the weekend and struggle against not that special ACC teams. They have and all of our mid week games have been against quality opponents not cupcakes
The explanation may be as simple as getting too tight on the weekend for conference games and coming out loose and just playing baseball midweek.I caught some of the game tonight.
