My source wouldn't name that coach or tell ME but it was in a meeting where it was a split decision among the coaching staff in starting a fresh QB. This why he retrace his comments on naming a starting QB.

And if special teams had gone full ****** instead of only partially ****** against CMU, like they did against tech, then Jarren would have lost to CMU. or are you going to keep conveniently excluding that game when you try to prop up one Qb over the other. He had the aid of semi competent ST and multiple turnovers from the defense to aid the worst offensive performance of the season.

It'll probably look like an entire line of Aaron Donalds lining up against our entire line looking like 5 Tommy Kennedys.

And let's be clear here too- this Pitt team is okay but they still struggled with freakin' Delaware too and got smoked by mighty Virginia where they were held scoreless in the second half and gave up 17 unanswered points.

Some guys are just gamers. Put Kennedy in under live fire in real game action and watch our QBs have alllll day to sit in the pocket!
 
IMHO, those wanting to see Tate will get their wish as soon as Kosi and Williams get carted off the field. If I was Pitt's D coordinator, I would take the penalty for roughing the QB and go after both of them.
