Manny is the best coach we ever had! He got the best out of the recruits he had and we won games! Hard to say that with a straight face, but he also got paid less than 2 million

I like how all these dIAZ slurpers talk about the Lashlee hire. Same people forget we were at around 20% conversion on 3rd and 1 last 2 years. I guess they just wiped the memory of Penos too. Gattis sucks and needs to go back to the big 10 with this offense. Mario needs to quit being stubborn and run an offense from this century(which was my main concern with his hire)

Manny deserves nothing. These are all his players. Lashlee was a good hire, that’s the only positive from Mannys tenure.

Sincerely believe that Shannon and golden were 10x the coach manny was. No clue how he landed another big time job, but he will either be fired from Penn state or get Franklin fired

Yes Manny had no business getting his first head coaching job at the high pressure environment that is Miami. Buy he constantly improved despite horrible scheduling, horrible field goal kickers and horrible luck with injuries and had the team at the end of last season playing the best the program has looked in a long time.

The truth is Manny never had a roster as loaded as this one and Manny never had scheduling as soft as this one. But I guess Alabama and Michigan State is Middle Tennessee State for Mario.

And we tried to tell you about Mario's track record in history, but nobody listened because he is a local boy who is plugged in with the big money.

Whole thing is a train wreck that was brought about by overly emotional and demanding and impatient fans. Now we are stuck with this incompetent steakhead on a deal that cannot be bought out.

Another “I told you so” thread. I’m not impressed and it seems many others aren’t either. Being “right” won’t change a **** thing and reinforces the fact that some “fans” enjoy wallowing in the failures of the Canes.

Nobody is saying Manny is Knute Rockne. But you don't fire a winning and improving coach unless you have something better lined up. This isn't it.

there is no amount of time to help a bad scheme and poor coaching.

Manny sucked as an HC. Mario is a better HC. Marios performance this year as an HC is one of the worst in modern canes football history. it's gonna be worse than Manny year 1.

Context matters. Cherry picking stats at it finest.
 
All I can say about Manny is that at the very least I do think he would have tried to hire another guy in the Lashlee mold. He wouldn't have gone back to Enos phone booth type offense.
