OK, I’ll play once again.
Let me address this line:
“But you don't fire a
winning and improving coach unless you have something better lined up”
-Improving:
So going from 6-7 to 8-3 is improving, correct? What happens when a coach goes from 8-3 to 7-5? Is that still improving?
-Winning:
So a coach who is 21-15 in 3 yrs or an avg. season record of 7-5 is now considered winning??
****, folks, by this genius definition, Randy Shannon should still be here, too, amiright??
I mean Shannon went from 5-7 to 7-6 to 9-4!! Is that not IMPROVING?? Oh, but he got fired after going 7-5 in year 4. Oh, oh, oh, oh, I forgot to mention, Randy beat the #18 team on the road (FSU), #14 and eventual ACC Champs (GT), & #8 OU alllll w/in 3 of the first 4 games.
****, now that U’ve enlightened us, why was Randy even fired based upon ur criteria? I mean all he did was go 28-22 orrrrrrrr wait for it, avg. 7-5/yr! **** this admin for firing a
winning & improving coach, and this coach actually won a Nat’l title as a player and DC here. Smh…big dummies!
Chiiiiiiiiiit, now that I really think about it, Why the fck did this admin make the mistake in firing Golden??? Was he not, per ur definition, a
winning & improving coach? I mean the guy went 6-6, then 7-5 ALL UNDER A CLOUD, just to go 9-4 in yr 3! But, then he went 6-7, but, but, but, but never mind that; he was a winning coach going 32-25 in 4.5 yrs or, well wouldn’t u know, avg. 7-5/yr.
Thank you for bring such clarity as to y Diaz should not have been fired, but I guess neither should have Shannon or Golden either
