Typical Miami.
Admin gives zero ***** about football.
All this investment they were talking about, where is it?
What the **** is Jose Estrada or Eschevia or whatever his name is, the **** is that guy doing?
This university is a big god**** joke
Well ****…I said awhile ago he’s likely finishing the year then reiterated it yesterday.
I just hope that UM made clear to the people in the industry that those are (AD and HC) open jobs.I said awhile ago he’s likely finishing the year then reiterated it yesterday.

Makes sense. They’re trying to keep the recruiting class in place. Class is elite and doesn’t need any work. Don’t want to risk it and drop out of the top 100 in team rankings.
Apparently it’s the current players theyre trying to keep around.Makes sense. They’re trying to keep the recruiting class in place. Class is elite and doesn’t need any work. Don’t want to risk it and drop out of the top 100 in team rankings.

I'm not exactly a leader in the Cristobal Cult but this is one area that I'd have no worries about him in the near term. Like you said, the next guy is absolutely going to have to pound the Portal and it's weird to say but we are going to have to hope he's remotely as adept at it as The Former Guy was.Class is f'd regardless. This is the least of the issues. Whoever it is will hit the portal hard for plug and play guys in a transition year. Just look at what Michigan State did to transform that team and we would not even need as many guys. We have good returning talent. If we can keep some of those from defecting we will be fine.

I think some other names floating around (Kiffin, Aranda, etc) would be fine at it too but I do think this is where we might run into an issue with an "up and comer". Some of those names might be hot around here or anywhere where new coaches are needed but most would probably be essentially unknowns to prospective transfer players and their families.
Not a Mario fan but he’d be dumb to leave his situation to come over here. Oregon will give him whatever he wants. Boy bout to use us for a fat pay raise. Prolly get his salary doubledGonna be a lot of disappointed folks when the admin hitches their wagon entirely to Mario and he says no
You can see it coming from 1000 miles away
Yup it’s the Miami way put all our eggs in one basket and then come away empty handed.Gonna be a lot of disappointed folks when the admin hitches their wagon entirely to Mario and he says no

So there are no other names? I think Mario is on top but doubt they don't have contingencies.Gonna be a lot of disappointed folks when the admin hitches their wagon entirely to Mario and he says no

I mean there are other names but what I see coming is mostly attributed to the fact that Mario is gonna be in the playoff. You're not getting a final answer until Jan 1 if he loses in the 1st round. January 11 if he was able to win in the 1st round. So there are no other names? I think Mario is on top but doubt they don't have contingencies.
