Manny on Joe Rose

We’ve made bad choices. There’s nothing cheap about scratching out a $4M check to Temple to hire a guy who was there for a week. There’s nothing cheap about paying Penos $1.5M.

We have made repeated bad choices. We pay the going rate and above for the guys we hire. It’s hard to argue that Manure is underpaid.

When the 4 playoff teams first hired their current HCs they probably paid them less than we paid Manure. They just happened to make better choices.

They also happen to be SERIOUS about major college football and the winning aspect of it. Whereas Miami has a mediocre BOT and AD at the helm!

Really? Ok then:

Fire Butch Barry: go steal Mogridge from USF.
Fire Stubblefield: go steal Darrel Wyatt from UCF
Fire Stroud: go steal Charlie Partridge from Pitt
Fire Patke: go get James Vollono from FIU for special teams only position
Fire Banda: go get Jon Heacock (DC/safeties) from Iowa State
Fire Rumph: go get Blue Adams at Oregon State or Travis Fisher from Nebraska as cb/co-secondary guy
Fire Baker: go get Mike Siravo at Baylor (lb/associate DC)
What did Stroud do wrong?

Yeah! Manny's been PLAYING most of y'all, but not all, Cane fans since he became HC!:ttdg2m10mxvzxan.jpg: Nevertheless, it least he did the right thing and gave Enos the proverbial " pink slip. " Now he can FIRE the rest of the offensive staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Because Manny's beloved METRICS indicate No offensive assistant should be in Thee Gables come Spring practice.

Manny is a fraud. Stop listening to the man.

He is the very definition of a bull**** artist, and it don’t matter who he brings in because he’ll still be the head man. So, don’t forget:

He’s an awful head coach
Terrible leader
Not well respected by the players nor his peers
Creates a culture of buffoonery (turnover chain, TD rings, dancing on sidelines when the team is losing to G5 schools)
Never played sports at all

That's a horse **** take from this usual shill dgay72.

Not a single thing in Penos' resume suggested he's capable of producing a top 10 offense. There are years of tangible data showing otherwise.

He had almost a decade of seasons as an OC or HC, almost all of them resulted with horrible offenses.

The only people who liked this hire were blind homers or people who used the metric "SABAN WANTED HIM" as some sort of indicator of future success.

Now, to top it all off, he didn't even hire an OC that fit the style of play he spent 2 months bragging about wanting.

Overall, it was an atrocious hire based on years of evidence that Penos proved he can't engineer top offenses, and it was a further failure as Manure hired a guy running a system which was in direct conflict with the one he claimed he wanted to run.
Wow, love when the 9 year olds post on here. "dgay72" brilliant.

I'm not talking about idiots on this board having an opinion one way or the other, nothing to do with "homers", and certainly your take is never of value.. I'm talking local and national CFB pundits, experts, media. Almost every major sports publication, almost every CFB analyst who spoke about the offseason hires, said that Miami got a huge win by hiring Enos. Yes, Manny made a mistake in thinking he was a top-notch hire...the same mistake that a near consensus of experts also made.

Manny does enough terribly that making **** up isn't needed. He was an all-dade honorable mention in three sports.

Lose me at the hope I have that he can hire a good OC and succeed. He's already failed miserably in year 1 and will be fired after year 2 if he doesn't rectify things. I still have hope that he can fix things considering he paid $2M+ for one year of Enos. That was not an easy decision but showed Manny is willing to do whatever it takes.

Football, baseball and basketball

My bad, I didn’t know your were counting video games as athletic feats. So since you’re talking about video games, I’m pretty sure he was a good football, basketball and baseball VIDEO game player because he for **** sure never actually played any of those sports In a physical way

Its well documented he didn’t play sports beyond pee wee football, when he was 7 or 8 years old. He never ever played HS ball...or even JV ball, for that matter
