Manny on Joe Rose tomorrow 7am

If you care about this program you will hope for a bowl loss. We don’t need Blake and Manny parading around showing off a toilet bowl trophy and acting like it was a successful year Bc they beat the only team worse than us that was bowl eligible.

We are not moving in the right direction and we aren’t getting better. Do not give them any opportunity to lie and say we are

Things cant get any worse. And I am sure Manny wont start parading in on yachts this offseason even with a 7-6 record claiming we are on our way! He knows he phucked up. And either has to fix this or he wont be here this time next year. Hes not getting 3 years after a 6-6 season.

I agree with your assessment on the defense in that they're not the sole reason our season was ****. But I put the loss to UNC at their door (4th and 17) and think about what our record could've been like had Manny not taken over Blake's job as playcaller on defense. The defense was atrocious for certain parts of the season, as was personnel decisions (letting a walk-on play over Brooks, Patchan playing almost half the year ahead of Rousseau, etc...)

Unfortunately, I don't see Manny doing what Orgeron did. It seems like he's already doubling down on his hires.

I agree with the OP. It sounded to me like there very well could be changes on the offensive staff. He did nothing to defend them in the interview.
In regards to the D, they definitely could’ve been better but there’s no way you can objectively look at them and think they didn’t do their job, for the most part. They played well enough to win 10 games at worst.
If I had to guess, Enos and Barry are gone. Everyone else is safe.

I do not think Butch Barry should go. In fact, I want him to stay. Enos can go for sure. Barry cant make his kids run faster and bench more.... If they don not know who to block thats one thing, but if they are physically unable to block them, then well, thats what we had this year.

Enos can head out tho

The fact that he thinks there’s nothing wrong with his defense, even though it visibly and statistically regressed and suffered key breakdowns in losses, tells you that he’s not going to make all the moves necessary. He doesn’t possess the needed judgement to be a HC, and that’s why he’s going to fail.

He’ll fire Enos and Barry, keep the rest of the staff intact, and get himself fired in 2020.

There is no question that as soon as we won those games against fsu and lousiville he gave the defense back to Baker. Just look at our alignment on any given 3rd and long. That isn't Manny calling those wacky *** calls, Something is really really fishy about that side of the ball. If you watch our alignments on defense for an entire game we look like a 3-4 multiple team defensively. That is Baker 100%

There’s no doubt people on the defensive side should be fired, but I would say the current defense we have is plenty good enough to dominate the coastal. If you have an explosive offense it will mask some of your defensive fragility’s. How many times have we had a turnover or return a punt with great field position and then our offense settles for 3 points or doesn’t score at all. I’m sick of that sh*t tbh

There were times that Hillery never put a hand on #96. You cannot fix that with coaching. He is at best an FCS caliber lineman. Herbert is not much better. Reed must have been awful, too. I mean think about this. In any normal year, Nelson redshirts and so does Clark. Hillery, Herbert or Reed could not beat out either of these two.

Manny putting all his eggs in the 2020 class basket is also giving him another "youth" excuse next season. It's a vicious cycle of bull&hit. No matter. Next season will be his last as a HC at a P5 program ever.

Buying another year or 2

Just wait and see if we win a bowl game. It will be nauseating.

“We just won our 3rd bowl game in 15 years. That’s a big deal and something to be proud of. After all the adversity we went through this year, I’m proud of our guys. We’re gonna use this as a stepping stone into offseason workouts and next year.”

That’ll just be the postgame presser. Not too mention Blake James tweeting about how Manny built a bowl champion team. Just trust me. You’re gonna wanna root for a loss.

We aren't winning the bowel game. Look how we've done after only 1 week off.

The interview sounded like changes were coming to the offense for sure. Hopefully this doesn’t mean letting Enos run a system he’s never ran before and we go get someone else.

Manny is egotistical. His thing is the defense. Just like Richt, Enos’ offense made Manny’s defense look worse than it was and now has his buddies (Baker, Banda, and Patke) names in the fire with this fan base along with his own.

Been stated on here a few times and I’ve been thinking it myself... literally no one on this staff could call plays on offense besides Enos. Might not be a good bowl game but it’s very important that we don’t lose again.

nothing wrong with the defense lol imagine how shredded we'd get if we played a half decent schedule.

facts, I dont know what you expect from barry, hes not hellen keller. Now, can your OC do **** to help the boys out? Yeah, but you might all be interested in knowing that widening splits doesn't really help unathletic OLs... eg going in a spread. Narrowing splits is what you do if you got some bums on the interior line, and leaving backs and TEs in to block as well... things Enos doesnt do, so I think they were set up to fail from the start.

At least Richt realized we couldnt block **** and went max protect many times last season.
