Him winning the last two games likely insures he’ll make it through the season , minus a really bad loss. You should know how they roll by now. Manny still has a very long road to go until he’s safe. There’s four power five schools left and we know his history. I always said he needed a miracle run.

They did mention what I’ve been posting about the program making changes and supposedly treating this like a big boy program going forward. So there’s that.

It also chaps my *** when people keep saying players are playing hard for the coach blah blah blah…..NO they are playing hard because they are younger players who are finally getting an opportunity and don’t know any better than to play hard. Older guys suck *** so maybe they are playing for Manny, but guys like James Williams, Kinchens, LT, Rooster, Van Dyke are playing hard because they finally got a freaking chance.
 
Blake has to be gone by 2022. Regardless of Manny’s performance from here on out.
If Manny wins his bowl I think he is allowed to coach in 2022 but the new AD has him on notice. The moment he loses to an opponent he shouldn’t, manny gets axed in 2022.

Good Luck bringing in players. Sadly, you are probably correct but that set up will be a major failure. I would have a field day recruiting against that scenario.

Preaching to the choir. Pretty sure you have been saying the same - but It doesn’t make any sense for a program to fire a coach basically knowing the AD will be replaced soon. No school does it that way really. You replace the AD first and let them put their people in place.
 
I’m just so terrified that manny will be back. We will be favored in all the remaining games. We finish 8-4 and go to acc championship how do they fire him ???

For a real AD you mean. No elite hc is coming here even if UM threw Jimbo Fisher money guaranteed at them to coach for an athletic department with Jen Strawley in it.

I highly doubt the beginning of the article is true.....Miami admin doesn’t want to lose youth to transfers? If true, then why didn’t they fire Blake James the Monday after Blake threw Manny under the bus without notice the night before playing a top 20 in conference team?

When wake scores 90 on his a&&& and he’s punk’d on national tv by wake. They have the perfect disciplined veteran offense to do it against our soft, little to no pass rush from front a 4 with an often delayed safety blitz to put madden record numbers offensively against Diaz.

I hope I’m wrong, I just don’t see how this team wins out with a special teams or hc as bad as ours. We won nc st in spite of Diaz helping them to score to end the half. Till he learns how to coach in game or allows others to help him more, every game with manny is a big liability.
 
If Blake is being fired then you gotta assume Manny is not far behind. The main reason for his firing is bc of this hire.

What you are saying is correct and I think many people fail to understand that. The article specifically says Snake James can't fire Diaz in an attempt to save his own ***. That should make everyone very happy. Then the article says the BOT is also evaluating how bad all three of the revenue sports have become under his tenure. Translation: he's getting fired. Next guy can decide if Diaz stays or goes. Im going to pray to the football and basketball gods for Tom Jurich. Give me Lane Kiffin (I will also accept Luke Fickell) and Rick Pitino, and let's call it a day.

This is exactly why he should have been fired after the UNC loss…now we’re stuck with him indefinitely. I can’t stand the decision makers at Miami
