Since it's looking more and more like we're not going to sign too many offensive players this year, we need all the live bodies we can get.

And what's awesome is we have 20 OC candidates per our message board, so that's great too!

I do love the move to get rid of everybody and start fresh.

We all been wanting spread for years. Even if Miami has a middle of the pack offense and defense we’d be able to at least reach the ACC championship yearly.

We gotta do things step by step with this program. I support him and hope everything pans out

Day one with new Offensive staff...

 
If getting transfer QBs is going to scare Nkosi/Jarren off...oh well.
Rb I don't think we need to bring anyone else in at all.
WR we could use one grad transfer since we are losing Ahmmon, Thomas, and Cager. I fully expect one or two of Hightower, Pope, Harley, Njoku, Payton, etc to step up. But we could use an experienced guy in that rotation. Just glad no more Cager + Langham.
TE we don't need anyone Imo. With Irvin returning and Brevin being the best Sophomore TE in the country, and Mallory being talented as ****, we are good there.
Oline I want every ******* transfer we can get at this point. Nobodys spot is guaranteed. They played like **** and no starter is safe, I don't give a ****
 
Is this “transfer portal” new? First I ever hear of it. Anyways it’s gotta have coaches shook. Look at all the names entering that thing. If we can benefit from it immediately go for it. But I’d love to see Manny’s take a bunch of guys and then recruit kids with it. “Look at all these kids that came back because of that portal. We were in a spot where we needed it but we won’t be doing that often. Learn from them and stay home. These other schools don’t love you like they do at home”

The good thing about all this is that every time an OC candidate turns Manny down all he has to do is get on CiS for a few minutes to find the next guy to call for an interview.
 
I have no problem sacrificing what is already a horrendous year recruiting to make sure we get the right guy at OC. This is about more than just potentially salvaging a recruiting class.

Take your time, get the right guy, and no one will care what the 2019 class was ranked in a few years.
