We have good, younger DEs that should be getting time over this "Experiment"

Manny has no problem with getting the right coaching staff in place, and I like that....but his down fall might be his loyalty to these upperclassmen...even when they aren't that good.

I appreciate McCloud trying to do a solid for the program a couple years back when he took the redshirt but he has regressed every single year he's been here. He should only see the field if someone needs a quick breather or garbage time.

If he is looking as good as coach Simpson and Diaz are saying he is looking then being determined to play him is valid.
I trust their judgement.

It is not like we have a bunch of experienced DEs ready to fill in for the guys who left.

He looked good coming off the edge a few times in his career and in the short clips this spring. If he is doing his job you play him all day. He’s probably stronger than the whole group.
Leave the linebacker Mccloud in the past and lest see what he’s got.
If he is setting the edge strong game one I’m rollin.

McCloud Carter and Hall cannot be on the field at the same time not even special teams. McCloud should not be playing over Taylor or Thomas Davis.
