Manny Diaz was really our best option as the next HC

Diaz & most of current staff are lazy recruiters

What’s the point of continuity if the current team performance is poor. We needed an overhaul of the staff

You don’t end up with the 34th ranked recruiting class at Miami without being lazy. Diaz was a large part of that. Our defensive staff was notorious for shooting for the stars with no backup plan. Sure go after the 5* but always keep in touch with 4-5 others for each position when the 5* goes elsewhere. Too many late offers or guys who complain that they hadn’t heard from Diaz and/or Miami in the last 3 years. That is lazy recruiting.

Miami paid for it too. It took Butch 5-6 years of making mistakes to figure it out too so GTFO.

I agree. The only coach out there that was worth taking a crack at was Urban Meyer and he’s not trying to coach anytime soon. Everyone crying about someone other Manny, please tell us who would have been better and based on what?
