Also, how do you know that Richt "panicked?" You know him personally? Why didn't he consult you on this hire man, you seem to know more than him. I would've definitely consulted you if I was him... getting paid millions of dollars to do what he does, but that's just me.

This a pretty pathetic post...it's almost something I would expect Don Bailey Jr or some other tool on the payroll to post.

I recommend you go root for another team with your neutered expectations.

We have an experienced JUNIOR QB returning and we play in the ACC Coastal. The goal is nothing less than 10 wins and a BCS bowl next year...anyone who says less just because we've had 3 of the worst head coaches in division 1 the last 10 + years is a kiss-***. A good coach can make an immediate impact in modern day college football so yes...those are the expectations.

How is what I said not what you stated as "the goal"? I guess I didn't say the same words or specify that bowls that matter are FBS bowls... **** my ignorance... Shame on me and my UM education. Who should I root for if I can't root for my alma mater?

That's a good point about this hire. How many defensive stud recruits have we lost recently because they hated our passive lame *** scheme? That problem is now 110% fixed. Between coach Kool's dline and Diaz's attacking style, kids are going to be lining up to come play at Miami. These guys are competent coaches. If we fill the roster with crazy talent we'll have an elite defense.

So our strategy is no longer to allow our opponents to score at will?

I remember everyone at the time claiming his defense was too complicated at Texas and that he got too cute with his approach and tried to be too smart. Now I'm hearing guys saying his defense is ultra simple.

Does anyone have any real info about what he changed after his Texas abortion?

I NEVER said that I don't expect to start winning our division title, or the ACC in a couple of years. Stop selectively reading and read the whole post man. We're butting heads right now on other ****, but I agree with this. If he can't make the talent we have, with Kool's DLine, and (hopefully) Raymond's DBs a top 25 team, GTFO.

Love the hire guy was great everywhere but Texas. TEXAS IS STILL A DISASTER

Where was he great? I'm not seeing it.

He's never been great. Has never produced great results and his defenses have been absolutely dragged around the field many many times.

Randy Shannon would be way down my list of potential DC hires, but he's produced much better defenses than Diaz has.

Legit question: If the Missouri DL coach is so special, as many here tout, why would a guy like that hook his trailer to a DC that is being painted as so bang average? Did the DL coach not have other options? Did he agree believing we would land another DC? I just dont see why a guy who has been hailed as the "best DL coach in College football" would come here when such an apparent blah DC hire was in the pipeline?

B/C Mark Richt is a highly respected man and he was out of a job. Richt offered him good money to come coach at the University of Miami.

I'm serious when I say this: I'd rather have Coach Kool running the D than the assclown we just hired.
