got it were a development team...
Manny sold everyone this offseason that no rebuild would be necessary and he could win now. This team has too much talent to not win 9 or 10 games
especially a year when everyone aside from UVA is down
No he didn't.
He gave coach speak about the expectation—but anyone with a clue could evaluate this thing for what it is.
What is he supposed to tell all the kids that are here or the ones coming in 2020 and 2021—"Sorry, folks. Park's closed. Moose out front should've told you" and all these kids should just pack it in and go through the motions.
7-6 last year. Fifth head coach in 14 season. 99-73 since the end of 2006. 1-of-15 in Coastal Division titles .... yet we have some in this fan base screaming, "12-0" and talk of beating Clemson in the ACC title game.
Took Dabo a decade to built what he built in Clemson. Miami has been a college football afterthought for almost 15 years.
If you took anything Manny said as some sort of guarantee that this team was ready to hit the ground running in 2019, you misheard the message.
