even if you get paid less at UM than some cow school-

an INTELLIGENT student would realize they will make up for that by becoming a star at Miami

and have a lifetime of earning potential with businesses and alumni in south Florida

There's a guy who looks just like me, and I get blamed for a lot of things I never did - but apparently HE did. I mean - really stupid stuff!

I met him face to face one day - and I was stunned. We both were. This is true - we were also both driving white Volkswagens. Even my own mother was fooled, chewing me out for skipping school.

Now I like the Slippery Rock colors - but that wasn't me. Especially if this guy was engaged in some idiotic behavior, no one in their right mind would do.

I'm just a victim.

After reading this I began to think about it, and honestly Fletcher committing to us and help leading us back to resurgence is quite possibly today’s equivalence to when Bratton and Highsmith committed to us and the impact going forward. @k9cane your thoughts on that parallel?

Wow, hadn't thought about it, but I think it has legs (yes, pun fully intended since were talking running backs, lol). But I've seen firsthand how Mrs. Fletcher deals with people that come up to her, how friendly and accommodating she is with her time.

As for 'Big Mark' (RIP), I've been told by people that knew him just how important he was for the community, and things he did quietly to help others

Then you have their son, I was there after the Cotton Bowl, as the team got back from the team bus how he made sure every kid that wanted a photo and/or autograph was taken care off. Even as he was being pulled away. Fletcher comes from good stock,

when I got back to my AirBnb from the game, I was watching a highlight clip of the game, when they showed that clip and said that she DROVE to every game, I was ,'WHAT?!!?! She DRIVES to every game?!?!?" I had no idea. That's a Cal Ripken-esque streak

Yes! I remember hearing that she does that because she's too scared to fly!

This is where I really fell in love with him as a human being. He's so special and we truly are blessed.

All y'all in this thread need to watch this if you haven't seen it before. I've watched it more times than I can count. Notice the way they are all beaming at Mark.

Elite human being. I am so proud that a young man like him is carrying the torch for this program. He deserves all the good things in life, and I have no doubt that he will put the work in to get those good things.
