His passing completion changed like 6% pre and post UNC. I’m not buying it.
Not that facts have ever meant anything here but pre UNC he was a 59% passer. Including the UNC game and after he was a 49% passer. He only dropped around 5 percent overall because he threw more passes in the first six games.
Are you positive about that or are you simply posting your feelings because you are a Perry groupie.51% vs acc opponents. Making excuses because that *** will be on the bench next year.
Selling. His shoulder injury didn't affect the offense being able to line up and run the football early in games.
So you're not buying that his shoulder was hurt becasue we couldn't run the ball? Are you retarded?
I was 10 rows up dead center for the UVA and Pitt games. He was not only horribly inaccurate but had no zip on the ball whatsoever. He was floating balls on speed cuts. I'm not a Malik apologist but he was clearly not the same QB after the UNC game.
Was his shoulder injured? Maybe.
Was it the reason we lost to Pitt and got hammered by Clemson? Probably not.
His shoulder was fine for 5-6 GT at home, FSU 6-6, and 4-8 Syracuse at home. Was his shoulder injury the reason the offense was garbage then?
My point was, regardless of injury, we couldn't line up and run the football effectively. That's the reason the offense sucked, not because a 55% completion QB's shoulder was injured.
Again I'm no Malik apologist but it was clear to anyone who watched the team and doesn't hate the kid just to hate him that he wasn't the same after UNC. If he can hit those deep shots that he hit early on in the season, opposing defenses can't load up and the running game is better. Pretty simple football 101.
And the fact that rosier is *** won't make you take his dîck out your mouth.Don't bother having a discussion with Fincane when it comes to Rosier, he'll defend Rosier until death
I was having a discussion with my complete opposite. I guy who dubbed Perry a starter the moment Kaaya left and would not hear of another QB winning the job. He fought the good fight as long as he could. Now he's back for another offseason.
Rosier is ***. Led the conference in picks and had one of the worst completion percentages.
He was also tied for the conference lead in TD passes and I believe he finished in the top 2 or 3 in total TDs accounted for. But none of that makes what I said about you untrue.
Yes he was hurt, everyone knew that, but he looked the same after UNC as he did before UNC, so it doesn't matter.

Maybe you should watch closer then, specifically the Pitt game. At least he could complete bubble screens early in the year and was money on deep balls. Both of those were non existent the last couple of games. And it's not like he was just missing, he wasn't even close or had nothing on his throws.
This is all about hating Rosier because he's not Dorsey, which is typical of dogsh!t Miami fans. It was his first year in a brand new offense with a **** offensive line, his best RB on the bench, his best WR hurt all year, no depth at TE or a FB and if we're being honest (which is almost impossible in these threads) Richt's play calling was ****ty at times. Despite all that and the obvious injury, he broke the TD record and made some of the most memorable plays to WIN games in the last 15 years against top 5 opponents, led us to the coastal title and the ACCCG.

You're talking about a **** in a mouth when you jumped on the bandwagon of a freshman who was so ill-prepared(because he was a freshman) that he couldn't beat out Evan Shirreffs. That isn't an indictment on Perry. He shouldn't have played this year and thankfully he didn't. You have decided that looking like a dope for an entire offseason wasn't enough and are looking to make more predictions. You were so wrong that the coaches would rather wheel naturally inaccurate and then hurt Rosier out there before Shirreffs and Perry was so far behind he was out of contention before the third scrimmage.
But you root for talent so you're doing the fan thing the right way. Ok.

You must have missed all those bad throws early in the year.

You **** right i was for perry because i knew rosier wasnt good. The same way i was for kaaya because i knew heaps was ***.
A busted shoulder prevented him from scanning the field and making reads?
I thought everyone knew he hurt his shoulder and it was clear his game went down afterward. Don't know if the outcomes would have been different but refusing to acknowledge facts is silly. For years we have never had a back up QB ready to go; that has to stop. We need to recruit a clear starter every year plus another with potential. Think of the QBs behind Kelly in his last last year - one won our first NC, one won our first Hiesman and the third is our HC.
Navy just beat UVA 49-7 today and the QB was 0-1 passing. They RAN THE BALL every play for the entire game except 1 play. My argument is, again, that the offense sucked because we couldn't line up man to man and RUN THE BALL - not because Malik sucks or because he was injured.

I'm not saying Malik is perfect or anything more than above average but the Oline and offensive depth were below average. So while Malik certainly was inaccurate at times, he was also money and was a big part of huge wins that kept the '18 class together and got us a Coastal for the first time in program history. He deserves some credit.
But you're one of those dogsh!t fans that I'm talking about. He sucks because he's not Dorsey. I wonder what Dorsey would've done behind this OL and all the depth problems we had.

You rooted for Perry because you're dopey. You thought a freshman despite all the evidence to the contrary was a better option at QB than a less physically gifted older player. If the older player is so bad that a late enrollee true freshman beats him out you might as well write 8-4 on the schedule and just wait for when the losses occur. You get 8-4 when the team is actually pretty good and well coached. You get 6-7 when Al Golden is coaching.

You don’t understand the game of football very well if you’re using Navy as a comparator in terms of running games. In the future, you should refrain from making comments that relate to football play and stick to ancillary topics like uniforms, stadiums, endzone ornamentation, parking lots, etc. You can still find plenty to bltch about there. But comparing Navy’s running game to ours? Just don’t.
