Malik Starting the Bowl game

Mother Theresa, by all accounts, was a great human being. I wouldn't want her starting at QB for us either.

Imagine if she was a recruit? That would be a nightmare. Mork would start her all 4 years, never pull her, and then offer her the QB coach position after she graduated. We would go 0-48 those 4 years and Mork would be talking about how she is an elite QB, but the other players just weren't executing.

Maybe he really isn't ready. Most true freshman do not come out of the gate ready for a game of this magnitude after not playing all year. Losing a bowl game to get Williams experience which still may not make a difference is just not a good plan with the way our recruiting and season has gone. We must be committed to winning this game at all costs.

NKosi has plenty of game experience plus 2 years in the system and he still looks below average. Unless Williams is head and shoulder above the rest, we should play the best players and not consider giving in him experience. Besides this dude almost dipped on us. Can he really lead this team now? His team saw the crap he pulled when things got rough.

- So.......start a QB that has a propensity for not being able to play efficiently and can barely outplay (if it all) guys that are in their 2nd year of college.
- Winning this bowl game is going to have zero effect on recruiting; both in the positive or the negative.
- How are you committed to winning this bowl game, when the guy that's announced the starter hasn't beaten one Power 5 opponent this year when he's played?
- So, if Nkosi has been in the system for 2 years and has about a half season worth of game experience and looks mediocre. Why are we going with a guy that has 3 years in this system, 5 years total in college, 2 years of game experience total, yet still looks just as bad if not worst than Perry?
- Do you know exactly what went on with Jarren Williams? By all accounts, people say he looks to be the most accurate and polished in the QB room. We've had an abortion of a year, marred and highlighted by two QBs that are just not good. This is also due to the fact that we have an unqualified QB coach developing QBs who doesn't know how to get a handle on his own room (QBs being suspended multiple times in a season as opposed to other position groups).
- When you have a 7-5 season, no particular player should be handed the job. Especially at QB, where QB play is the primary reason we are 7-5.

Perry had 2 games over 200 yards out of 10 games played (205 vs FSU and 224 vs fiu).

Malik is not a good QB by any means but he’s not as bad as that....Play malik first and then get Jarren Williams some time in the game is where I’m at with it because the decision to not play Perry shouldn’t cause any uproar considering the video and possible other suspension...

Perry is awesome. He is just garbage because Rick ruined him mentally. So he sucks....but it isn't his fault....but he's awesome.

Reading the comments on this board, you would SWEAR we were trying to start Malik Rosier over Kyler Murray or something. You guys just complain about everything. Maybe he's trying to ease Williams into the game and not have him feel a ton of pressure as a starter on an underachieving team? Maybe Malik has been out-practicing EVERYONE else on the roster, maybe Richt knows what apparently this board doesn't know...Perry is a knucklehead who may have played his last game as a Hurricane. If its not Perry, then it's the OC, if it's not the OC, then its the Co-DCs.

Is there anybody in here willing to just sit back and watch. Because we just had a top-5 defense 2 years in a row and lost our DC (it happens almost everywhere), as much as we rag on the play-calling, there are still a lot of poorly thrown balls and poor reads. We have a poorly ranked recruiting class at the end of the EARLY signing period, so what?!? We all remember how great of a season we had the last time people thought we had the top class right? 7-6, then 9-4, then 7-6

Perry thinks he doesn't need to put in any effort because he was a highly ranked recruit. Weldon and Williams can step up and win the starting job with a little extra effort, but don't.

Let me just say this: So many of you were on a pipe dream that Mark richt was some kind of great coach. You all totally ignored his final years at Georgia and the horrible QB situation that HE CREATED. For **** sakes, the guy brought in a Virginia transfer. Started a third string quarterback in the Florida/Georgia game. No one should be surprised that our quarterback situation is screwed up. Mark richt could not have inherited a better quarterback than Brad Kaaya, a quarterback that was actually accurate. Yet he ****ed it up as soon as he arrived by putting Brad Kaaya in a rpo system.

Now, many of you are upset that Malik Rosier is starting the bowl game. Be honest with yourself for once. Malik Rosier did nothing to get benched in the FIU game, not after his performance in the Toledo game. That made no sense. It's been a **** show every since. Now, I am not saying that Mark richt is responsible for the shortcomings of Malik Rosier. However, Mark is responsible for the poor development of the quarterbacks that are supposed to have better arm talent than Malik Rosier.

Stop making fun of Malik Rosier. He is not starting himself. Blame Mark richt and the selection of quarterbacks that he personally brought into the program. Every one of them have been suspended at one point or another.

Mark richt has never been the guy and never will be the guy for the University of Miami. The guy is over the hill and his decision-making is flawed and selfishly driven.

I dont Know why you all think it’s viable for Perry to play/start in wake of that video from social media. Anyone expecting him to start after the headlines last week needs their brain examined... You would have had feminist and all types of media personnel eating that sh*t up on the decision to play perry after everyone finding out about him posting the alleged video which would have been a bad look for Miami. In addition to that aren’t there rumors of him being suspended for a drug test too already? Considering rosier was taking first team reps before that article hit there seems to be some credible evidence for that suspension as well.

Our best hope is for somehow and some way Jarren Williams gets some meaningful time in this game because just reading the tea leaves I’ve fully expected Perry to not start this game after all the news recently
