Malik Rosier has committed to Miami

I'm just leave this here

"There were a couple of other schools that we thought might offer and if that happens, I might go there, but I feel really good about Miami right now," he said.

It's taken out of context, he's talking about visits....it doesn't look as bad if you have the paragraph before.

Rosier said he was unsure if he would take other visits this summer and fall.

BRO it is not taken out of Context AS QB with only 1 major offer and that offer is your very first one an its from a school like Miami, if your a QB alot of schools have seen up close and have told you ummm yeah we will call you; how can you then slap UM in the face with comment like that. This kid thinks he is better then he is, not only did he camp at several schools but ALL the big SEC schools sent someone down to watch the kid through one they heard UM had offered him, and they all left without offering him.

I really hope Alin Edouard sticks despite all his tomfoolery, because he brings more to the table with S. Fla ties and physical upside he just needs to get right in the head. An I can guarantee if he does a 180 degree change and starts to take the leadership role in helping to land a few more S. FLA players the staff will slow play if not grey shirt Rosier at the first visit he takes. The only reason he is even here is because Alin is acting the fool every chance he gets. As for the Head to Head comparison those who attended the Camp where Alin participated said he was threw better then Rosier did the week before and is more athletic, its unfortunate he dodged the chance to possibly put this discussion to rest.

But again nothing was taken out of context with Rosier comment the kid is looking around.

Go Canes!

Al will never have only one or two qbs again. Never be stuck begging some kid on a basketball court to please come to THE U. I love Olsen and Kaaya, but dont't disount Williams so fast. He actually has D1 playing experience and has been here. And if memory serves me right, a Florida state championship--not something to dismiss. Gotta love this depth, even if one ultimately goes elsewhere. I think qbs see what staff did with Harris in his last year and now Morris might go in 1st round of NFL, and the WR depth is just sick. We will get whoever we want at qb next year too. I want them all to stick--never want to go through putting all eggs in one basket again. Welcome to THE U kid. Good to have some Alabama blood down here.

After thinking about it this makes sense. After this year we can probably assume that along with Morris..Dewey, AND if Crow gets beat out by Olsen all 3 could be gone. With Crow and Dewey transferring. Al looks like he is protecting himself against that scenario. No way Crow sits behind Olsen if he gets beat out next Spring. Smart move. So then you really just have Williams, Olsen, and the 3 freshmen. Yikes.

Someone else is probably leaving if we're taking 3 QBs, could be a current commit or it could be someone on the team.

6 QBs on a roster is 1-2 too many.

Dewey should go to UTSA and play for Coker. Larry is doing some good things in San Antonio.

Even basic reading comprehension skills show that it was most certainly taken out of context by the first poster. The article and his full quote clearly shows he was talking about other visits, where he said he has no plans for other visits right now but....

Do we know if he had a "commitable" offer prior to Thompson dropping his Fball scholarship? The timing makes me think that once Thompson left the Fball program, we had another QB scholarship to allocate.

I hope all the players who have committed to Miami stay, including the 2012 class of QBs.

'Cane On.

Edouard does not stick...wants to run spread. Crow and Williams are average at best...so we need talent i.e. Olsen, Kaaya and Rosier

I live in Alabama and nobody is talking about this kid! None of the bama programs have offered him. I'm confused on why Miami is going crazy about him. I think you have plenty of QB's in S.FLA that match or exceed this kid's ability ( Treon Harris). Plus he coming from a losing program. Then he had the nerve to use Miami as a backup plan!

Gray Crow 2.0. We offer this ******* guy but not Winky Flowers? dammit mane.

Paranos really is full of ****.

Then answer this question how many visits Brad Kaaya going on, since I am full of crap for wanting a QB commit to exhibit leadership through honoring a commitment and ending the outside recruiting process.

Thats not what you originally posted. You posted that as soon as other offers came he was gone. So you read what you wanted to read. You were corrected so now you're changing your issues with the comments.

By the way Kaaya was hesitant to commit because he was waiting for other offers as well. He was hoping other west coast schools would offer besides SDSU. UCLA possibly. Also tried to get Okie State to offer before he committed. Stop changing history. He is all in now, but he tried to work the process too. We'll see how Rosier acts now that he has made his choice.
