Malik Rosier had a great game today

He had a great game on the ground. But he completed 52% of his passes and still looked very inaccurate. He was bailed out on several occasions. I’m down with Rosier if we can harness his running ability to mask his terrible throwing ability, but this doesn’t look like the end of his issues to me

13 for 23 is 57%. And he scored 5 TDs and didn’t turn the ball over.

He played well. People will always focus on the negatives because they are cheering against him but he did a lot of positive things today.

He's never going to complete 75% of his passes on a consistent basis but if he can convert 3rd downs/in the red zone and protect the ball, we will be fine.

I have higher standards. And 4-5 of those passes were terribly inaccurate. Stats do not tell the whole story. He had a good game and he looks his best when he is running the ball but I’m not going to act like that was a great game for a QB

He played good, not great. Still can’t understand how he can’t throw a screen to lead receivers and his deep balls were great catches, not great throws. He showed some toughness running the ball though and he made some nice throws.

He played well enough, but I still don't think he is the answer. He's not going to be able to hit some of those passes in ACC play. That throw to Cager in the endzone was horrible, but luckily Toledo was even more horrible. I thought Cager was going to get an offensive PI, because of the crap throw.

Yes, he had a good game. He is still the most god awful worst ever ever ever at throwing an object 10-20 yards

Well said.

Does he even use the TE?

He occasionally tries but misses Jordan consistently and somehow thinks Mallory has Jeff Thomas' speed. We really need to just start running those guys across the middle more and see if he can get in sync with them that way early.

He plays very good against poor defenses but his obvious passing shortcomings are on full display against good defenses. Jeff Thomas would have twice as many TDs with a more competent passer.
